Please Kimbrel, hold this. These guys couldn't deserve a win more.

A few minutes ago I was about to post that this will be the most palatable loss of the season. If Kimbrel doesn't hold it now it won't feel as good.

Any major league hitter can hit a 90 mph fastball down the middle, nevermind one of the best first baseman in the league in Freddie Freeman. Yes, but when the catcher basically let's the hitter know they are trying to throw him a high fastball literally 2 seconds before the pitch is delivered, it doesn't help. Just an awful pitch in an 0-2 count, but I hold firm to my initial post. It was bad communication between the two of them and they weren't in rhythm. However, when you stand up behind the plate, the hitter knows it. It's easier for a catcher to stand tall and then drop down for a low pitch. When you start low and then stand, the hitter knows a high fastball is coming.

LOL!!!!!
Most of the runs in this game were scored when I turned away from watching so when Phillips came up I changed the channel. When I switched back he was celebrating in the duggout.

Great that they battled back but hard to like how this game was managed. October is the goal bud, not these games that put us 9 games up instead of 8 when there's only 21 games left.

Kimbrel looks strong today. You may want to take that back to remove jinx before it's too late.

What a win. Only caught the last half inning. Wish I'd been able to watch the whole thing.

Kimbrel consistently at 98+ mph.
That's the last time I change the channel on this team, even with a spring training roster expanded lineup.

One of the best wins of the season (bonus part of win: Pomeranz made it clear which side of the postseason roster he will be on).

I have to imagine that Yankees fans have given up scoreboard watching, but for the few that haven't, haha.

Tuned in in the 6th, when the Sox had about a 1.5% chance of winning. My spectator's WPA for this game is off the charts!

Sometimes even when we try to lose we win. Unless we had Julio Lugo or Pablo Sandoval pitch, what else can we do?
