I'm in a townhome that's on relatively high ground without trees that could hit the house so we'll be good except for the power loss. We're staying put too. I'm just worried about all the food we have in the freezer mainly, but that's not as important as safety. Funny story, I moved to NC two weeks before Fran. That was a nice welcome to NC! My wife is in DC and I've texted her to stay alert. Here's the key part of the forecast discussion: So the atmospheric control disappears just as this thing approaches the coast. It could go north, south, or just drift a while. It looks like a saw blade coming in to the Carolinas. Be prepared...
I made it to the liquor store, so we should be good. I've heard the possibility of it just stopping and hovering for awhile which would be insane. Although, there is no gas anywhere already, which is concerning. The absolute worst thing besides physical harm of course is the lack of AC after the power goes out. Thankfully most of the utilities where I live are underground.

Eovaldi looking good following a short stint out of the rotation, which is what he should be designed to do. It'd be awesome to see Wright's knuckleball follow immediately after Eovaldi now in the 6th inning.

It is a understatement to say that Leon is a automatic out. He isn't doing anything, and I mean anything offensively these days.

offense really bad so far...perhaps they explode next inning? (now that they've cleared Leon's spot -_-)

Every game seems to be hard to win in September for the Sox. It's irritating as a fan to watch, especially when you see them dominate all year.

Kinsler, the guy brought in for 2nd base defense, muffs a throw to home plate. Come on man.

I heard the gas stations were like the fall of Saigon.

I will firmly stand by the fact that Sandy Leon shouldn't be on the playoff roster.

The Kinsler throw was right there Leon just couldn’t scoop and tag both runs on Leon. But it’s not gonna be added to his catchers era

Eovaldi might be a solid weapon out the bullpen come playoff time

Kinsler's throw was in the dirt. It wasn’t right there to be picked by a decent catcher? If a ball bounces in the dirt about a foot in front of the glove, it can be picked. But when a ball bounces 3-4 feet in front? It takes a miracle because it can go anywhere. I mean who is a good defensive catcher if Leon isn't?

Yay for 68 mph singles that score runs. This is the Eovaldi Special. Weak hits out of relatively good pitches. The Eovaldi Special Deluxe happens when that comes with 2 strikes.

Ok let me rephrase Leon is a good defensive catcher who should have bailed out his 2b with a pick that wasn’t all that difficult

That play by Pillar was stupid. Yeah it's all great that you show everyone that crashing into walls and giving your "max effort" is everything, but if you play that ball off the wall, Pearce is on second with a double.
