Man, Moncada still has a huge hole in his LH swing. Not sure how he's been doing well.

Workman and Walden have been guys that came out of no where or you think they were cooked, now they are striking out everyone along with Barnes.

Errors are just one stat, but Devers has the most by a third baseman in the majors and is projected to make well over 35 of them this year.

Winning is hard. You have to play and manage like you know that.

Brasier should be the 4th guy behind Barnes, Walden, Workman. His statcast looks bad. His performance thus far is mostly smoke and mirrors. Location’s been off. They’ll sort it out.

The thing is, he probably faced the lowest leverage or close to it out of all of them. Pretty much everyone but Thornburg and Hembree should have been able to handle that save.

All but top 3 batters taking an 0 for 20 made this a closer game than it needed to be. How long can they ride JBJ's black hole???

It's really hard for the 2019 Red Sox to string a bunch of wins in a row together. This year there's always something that jumps up and bites them. You start thinking, well, maybe they're turning a corner...and then something like this happens and you realize it's going to take awhile longer.
As telson says, Brasier seems to get better results than what his actual performance looks like. Kimbrel let some saves slip away, too, at times, but last year, for some reason, the Sox didn't blow too many late leads. This year, the bullpen has let a few more slip away. It's too bad, because this was clearly a winnable game they let slip away. Hope this doesn't put them in a funk for the rest of the series.

[ They need offense from more than Benny, Mookie and JDM, too. Can't let the offense off the hook for this loss, either. And Raffi's bad error.

Devers has 40 percent of the errors on this team.
