Chavis will have some speed bumps of course but lock him in to the lineup daily. We have our 2b of the future

Chavis with yet another home run. 420 Feet Funny about the conversations going on earlier in the spring about JBJ and/or Devers finally getting it and potentially being moved up in the lineup. After TWO WEEKS Chavis is in the #5 sport. I think the Chavis we are seeing here is different from anything we ever saw out of him at any time in the minors. One thing about these short guys: there's less strike zone they have to command.

I like Chavis' bat drop move on homers. It's kind of a bat flip/mic drop hybrid.

Can we let Thornburg pitch 4 innings and then waive him?

ERod with only one run through four plus is almost as good as the 15 runs from the offense. Not quite, but almost.

Can we let Thornburg pitch 4 innings and then waive him? You sure the lead is big enough?

It's not entirely sustainable of course, but I take back everything I said about Michael chavis not being a possible reliable bat. he's been murdering pitches, and some good ones at that. Off of some good pitching

I don’t know if he’ll have a .307 OBP at the end of the year.

Wow. Find the kid a permanent position to get comfy in, and pencil him in for the next 6 years

OK, now I'm comfortable with Nunez at 2B. Yes, but are you comfortable with him at SS??? Or let's ask the question differently: Are we more comfortable with Nunez at SS or Vazquez at 2B?

I don’t know if he’ll have a .307 OBP at the end of the year. Through the end of the year. Anyway, it'll be fun to see what the projection is tomorrow.
