Just a friendly reminder that the NYY’s gaudy (41-26) record is bolstered by a 10-2 mark against the O’s...

Remarkable - only two Sox hitless - Benny and Xander (arguably two of their best hitters). One of those games for sure (glad we are in this end of it)

Here we go. Salvage a series with the Rangers you should have lost, win 2 then probably win the next 3 at least and now everyone is going to be back on board. This to me is worst case scenario. Be too good to not sell, maybe even buy, and then still finish at 85-ish wins and either miss the playoffs or get bounced early. They've proven they can really beat up the garbage of the league. I do want them to win, but I want them to prove they can win against teams that aren't the Royals, Mariners, and Orioles. These series are a no-win situation. They lose, they show they're even worse than we thought. They win, it's just what they should be doing and proves nothing. they can only play the teams that are on the schedule. you have certainly watched baseball enough to know that even bad teams can get hot when you play them. Respectfully, the point of people not wanting them to sell or give up on the season is that folks think we haven't seen the best from them yet. We could be wrong, for sure, but this should be a successful team. There is a lot of talent on the roster. There is still a lot of games to be played, no reason to come to any final conclusions yet.

So ERod deserves some props for going deep in this game the night after the pen did a ton of work to pick up Price. Just what the bullpen needed.

It's very nice to play a AA-AAA team. We had trouble against very good pitching. It had to be a relief to bat against these guys. I'm loving it. Even Nunez WALKED!

This rotation expect for Price has a serious problem with giving up homeruns. Thank goodness the Orioles are way worse at giving up homeruns all year. The whole league has a problem giving up home runs.

The Sox can literally turn around the narrative in a heartbeat. I thought the Sox couldn't beat the Astros because they were 3-10 against the Astros in 2017 and 2018 after game 1 of ALCS. Then the Sox rip off 4 straight against the Astros. The Rays and Yankees have lost 2 straight, while winning 2 straight. The division is now back in play. The Sox are definitely going for it in 2019. It's what's going to happen. Too much money invested for it not to be.

Being mad at the Red Sox winning is not anything that any fan should ever do. Ever. You can't say that it's a worst case scenario that they're winning while saying you want them to win.

The whole league has a problem giving up home runs. Yes, but Sale, Eduardo, and Porcello's problems are exclusively this. There are great pitchers in this league who give up less than a homerun per nine innings still. Most of those pitchers are the most valuable pitchers in baseball however.

JBJ in the midst of an epic JBJ-style hot streak, rapidly closing in on .700 OPS on his way to .800 🤣🤣
Big game by Rodriguez. Not super efficient but 7 innings, 114 pitches, I’ll take it. Just when they looked cooked...

My centerfielder is a beast! The world is a better place when Jackie goes yard. The natural reaccuring phenomenon when JBJ goes from hitting like Sandy Leon to Ken Griffey Jr. is the oddest most funniest thing in baseball that happens over and over and over again.

Also, has Chavis made his adjustments? He’s heating up again, too. And god bless Xander Bogaerts. Idk how a SS puts up those numbers under the radar, but he totally has. He is just so damn...reliable.

BTW, Devers hit yet another ball 115 mph tonight. He also did it last night for a line drive out that probably had an expected batting average of .995.
I didn't see him get hit, is his injury something to worry about?
