Stripling through 3 on just 24 pitches.

Homeruns given up has been the biggest problem for Porcello, Sale, and Eduardo.
It's the biggest reason why these 3 aren't performing up to their peripherals.

Sadly, grooved meatballs that get smashed onto Landsdowne Street make peripherals completely irrelevant. No stat I'm aware of to cover that one up. Sigh.

This is the kind of pitcher Chavis seems to do well against. Surprised he didn’t start.

There are pitchers who have better numbers than 1.30 homeruns per 9 innings this year. Verlander and Cole have this same problem, too.

Another borderline pitch that went for the Dodgers on Mookie's strike 3 that the Red Sox haven't gotten all night.

Pro tip for the plate ump: if the catcher moves the ball into the zone it’s a ball.

Xander and Devers are saving this offense. Without them, they'd be lost.

You guys are nuts. Sale gets squeezed, gives up soft contact, cheap home runs and zero run support.
