X extension looks like money well spent.

Well, that tie lasted 2 seconds.

Apparently Fenway is way harder to suppress HR than Baltimore?

So this guy had not given up a homer since May?

Cashner hasn't looked bad, but the home run luck he's had this year may be coming home to roost.

You left him in too long, Cora.

All things said, that's a much better 5th starter start than usual.

Cashner hasn't looked bad, but the home run luck he's had this year may be coming home to roost. I would say if he is your 5th starter you are doing OK. With the sinking action on his pitches I can see where he gets his share of ground balls. I would also say I have more confidence in him than I have in Porcello right this minute.

You fight kick and scratch to tie up the game and one pitch later, you are back to fighting, scratching and kicking.
Kind of the story of 2019 in a nutshell.

This has gotten beyond old.
They'll win this game, because the Blue Jays are terrible, but they don't deserve it.
They don't just win games, ever.

Tbh disappointing start. I was expecting more considering his recent success and his overall numbers vs the blue jays.

that one didn't seem particularly hard to catch...and of course a strikeout one pitch later

Vazquez blocking issues behind the plate are real.

Great, Sox string 2 out hits to tie the game
..........But, give up the lead on the first pitch(Ugh)
.........And then had a pickoff that should've been the last out for another run(again...UGH!)

Once again, Sox win in annoying fashion against a bad team.

Travis saw exactly 1 strike in that AB and it was questionable.

Keystone Sox. If it can go wrong, it seems to this season...

Is there anyone here that feels more comfortable with Travis than Holt there?

I never have more faith in the guys Cora uses to pinch hit for Holt than I would have in Holt to face a lefty.
