I only learned today that there's a chance they get Top-6 not just Top-1, so my hopes are absolutely through the roof, 100% ready to feel pain when it doesn't pan out. That's about a 1 in 14 chance of getting a top 6 pick. Not horrible odds. Of course, the cards could fall the wrong way and we would end up with the 16th pick.

8:30 EST tonight, the odds are low, hoping for a top six pick.

Expecting the #1 pick and a Devers extension tonight. If that doesn’t materialize, I’ll pivot to rehashing the Mookie trade in whatever the newest thread about this offseason is.

I neeeeeed that top 6 pick LFG. If David Stern was alive and the MLB commissioner, the Sox would get #1

Lol Sox really had to win all those games the last week one loss and they would have jumped just like twins did
Add: beat Baltimore 3 times got swept by Toronto and than swept the rays 3 games

I kind of resent them milking me for a 30 minute psuedo event when they could just release it as text.

The Twins who got the 13th best position for the ping pong balls got all the up to 5th in the lottery.
The Twins past the Sox on the last game of the season for the 13th best position. The Sox have zero luck.

Haven't you guys heard about the butterfly flapping its wings in India? We weren't gonna get Minnesota's #5 slot if we lost one more game.

If banning the shift comes is seriously impactful, Jacob Gonzalez should get 1.1 chatter depending on how the year goes. One of his only flaws was an approach that resulted in a heavy dose of pull-side grounders.
If teams are able to do almost the same thing by just moving the shortstop over just to the left side of second, who knows. But a lot of those grounders were fairly strongly hit and his eye/power combo is enticing for a guy who'll probably stick at a premium position.

I know getting a 4th for Xman is nothing exciting but the added slot value maybe they can really work this draft.

Nazzan Zanetello is 1-1 if we're going by name alone (which I am).
As far as I'm concerned that's your Xander replacement right there.
