I see the up arrow on Roman Anthony, I'm guessing he has a decent chance up having his ceiling bumped to a 7.
Also no arrow, and probably a given with draftees being added, but I'm guessing Theo Denlinger drops off regardless with his recent demotion.

let's say Roman now grades at 5. I figure Teel should also grade as 5 or first among 4.5's. Both Zanetello and Anderson probably rate 4.5 grades. Assuming Drohan retains his 4.5 grade, just lower down. that gives us Mayer at 5.5, three grade 5 prospects and 9 at grade 4.5.
I am thinking Bleis' grade of 5 might be low, even though is projection for a young player in A. We grade all five tools as above or plus (above, plus, plus, plus, above). That should imply the sum is above? Mayer tools is plus, above, fringe, plus, plus for a sum of above?

He's got a long way to go to get to that so it isn't as easy as averaging potential tool grades.

Will there be an update to the rankings soon now that the draft class is signed and trade deadline is passed? Anxious to see where the new guys land! TY

FYI, plan is still today. Might be a technical issue that delays us until tomorrow. Pray to the laptop battery gods for us.

I don't think this is what it'll be, but my very uneducated Top 10 would be: - Mayer
- Anthony
- Bleis
- Rafaela
- Perales
- Teel
- Yorke
- Drohan
- Gonzalez
- Romero
Always excited for ranking updates, so I hope the laptop battery gods are kind.

I see Yuten made it to FCL, so wonder if he will sneak in at the bubble or not. He seems like he could drift into top 30 this year as well.

I am very interested to see what kind of jump Cespedes continues to make. He is being raved about not only within the organization, but also Baseball America (who typically undervalue Red Sox prospects, in my opinion).

I went back to look at how many homers Xander hit in the DSL and it was 3. Excellent average though. Devers hit 3 and was promoted to the FCL (GCL). You never see a lot of homers down there. I understand why he won't be promoted to the states with all of these infielders but I believe he'd hold his own. I agree that Teel will be up to Salem(?) soon, but what about Zanetello? Like the direction they took with their drafting this year. Exciting talent!

Not sure what you mean. Yuten has been in the FCL all year. And doing quite well!! Looking at that FCL roster, and the pitching staff in particular — sure hope Kyle Teel speaks some Spanish.

Here is your top 10, also, I plan on winning the power ball tonight.
Mayer Anthony Bleis Rafaela Yorke Teel Perales Romero Gonzalez Zanatello
I’m the most skeptical about #10. Seems like a big jump for a 2nd round HS pick, but he was highly regarded and has a high ceiling. I’m certain he’s somewhere in the top 15-20

We'd likely have ranked him in the 50s. Note: please, for the love of god, note that because player moved a few spots in either direction, it does not necessarily mean we think more or less highly of that player at the time of that given update compared to last month. As you can see from above, several new prospects debuted in the rankings, some players graduated. Others may have made big jumps around that player. It's all relative. Grades are important as well.
