Geez, tough crowd. They finished the season 6-18; you wanted them to play worse than .250 ball?

Red Sox win - they will have the 12th best odds heading into the lottery. 11th. Nats not eligible.

Can somebody explain to me why the Nats aren’t eligible?
Edit: nvm just saw they don’t allow big market teams to win lotto picks in back to back years

Red Sox win - they will have the 12th best odds heading into the lottery. 11th. Nats not eligible. I should clarify - 11th best odds of getting the lottery since the Nats aren't eligible, but the most likely odds are that they pick at 12: 64% of 12th, 23.7% of 13th, and 2.3% of 14th. All of these picks would move up one spot if Mets don't get a top 6 pick.

... unless the Sox land in the top 6 themselves, for which they hold a one-in-nine chance.

Realistically they might win 4 games this year, with the Jets being 2 of them.

So 11% chance of a top six pick. 89% chance they don’t win, and within that universe: 64% chance of moving up net one spot if Mets don’t win a lottery pick. 30% chance one of the teams below them hit the lottery and push them down net one. (Both can occur.) Less than 10% chance that two teams below them hit pushing down net two. Or something like that. Still a lot of moving parts.

That promo and the Flair-Lethal woo off will keep TNA alive in my heart forever
As for the draft is anybody else ready to be irrationally disappointed when we don’t get the first pick? I know I’m ready

Lottery on Tuesday, how's everyone feeling? Wouldn't it be something to get the #1 pick. That seems very unlikely but who the heck really knows what the odds are...probably like 1.1% or something.

So, what are the team's odds of simply snagging a spot in the top 6?

When did Brock morph into William H. Macy, circa about 1997?

We got #12, Yankees didn't get lucky. I'll take it.
