I feel that Butler would be a better option for the big club than Lavarnway due to his superior defense and right now the argument can be made that he has more pop in his bat than Lava

i havent looked at his innings total or anything, but is it possible that he's wearing down a bit right now? Its getting to that point in the season where maybe a couple days extra rest between starts could help him out. I also agree that he needs to continue to work on his conditioning and add some more muscle to avoid fading down the stretches of seasons.

From watching GAMEDAY @ working, can you tell me why Brian Anderson with 5+ ERA is out pitching our ace pitcher? Why can't the RS hitting him? I know he's pretty good in lifetime against Boston. It's Brett Anderson, who is actually a pretty good young lefty, he had a rough outing or two to start the year due to some nagging injuries supposedly.

Today hurt a bit. I am concerned with Middlebrooks. He seems like he is trying to bust out of this slump with each pitch and is just digging a deeper hole.
