We are going to miss Ellsbury. He makes things happen out there. He definitely is distracting and it doesn't take much of a hit for him to score from 2nd.

I still have this theory that Boston is a big market team and thus might end up being the team to sign Ellsbury...

Sooo... Morales is kinda stretched out right? I'm putting the over/under on Doubront at 4.5 innings. Innings are divided by thirds but I'll take the over.

I've been listening to the KC feed on MLB.com and they are interviewing Nebraska coach Darren Erstad. He was a CF like Ryan Boldt is probably going to be. Gotta say he is a heck of a role model for him and a perfect coach for him. Still think he should have signed but I bet Erstad was part of his decision to stay. Definitely a class act who can help the kid become a star. A strong commitment to self improvement and excellence.

Of course, now Farrell is going to try as hard as he can to work Doubront 5 innings to "get him the W".
I hate stupid stats.

I'm really glad we have Victorino in RF and not a mediocre defender like Maxwell.

That has gotta feel good for WMB.
Was a bloop hit. Really BABIP luck. But it sure has to feel good, as those are the kind of hits that went foul on him at the beginning of the year.
Hopefully it gets his confidence up and he goes on a tear.

I think John Farrell is going to try as hard as he can to work Doubront 5 innings because he's the best pitcher available as long as he doesn't tire, and it's best to save the bullpen as much as possible ... but I think he'll get through 5 anyway.

Now the relief guy comes in and gives up a run right away. Before you know it it's 4-3. Carp looks slow out there.

Okay get the K and now DP ball. This is what I wanted from Britton
Why can't one starter get us 7 to 8 lately? Great double steal.

Jrrusso, are you watching the same game I'm watching? What are you talking about? Well, he didn't give up a run right away, there was no DP, and it's not Britton either.

TY, Workman doesn't let it blow up.
No way this lead holds. They need a few more.
Split would be nice but right now I'd take one win to the bank (hope it's tonight).

"The Book" gives an expectation of 1.904 runs for first and third, nobody out. So Workman just took almost an entire run away from KC. That's huge.
