LOL-- Curt Schilling just said Yankee prospects fly under the radar because they're overshadowed by ARod and Jeter and Co.

Sox are staying in Boston tonight and flying out to the coast in the AM. The idea was the guys would get a decent night's sleep. So much for that, They'll be lucky to get home by 2am. Hope they sent tomorrow's starter on ahead. Lester, Peavy and Ross already in SF as far as I know.

To his credit, Shulman almost immediately mentioned that there have been a bunch of Yankee prospects that have been hyped that haven't worked out (Montero, Hughes, etc).

I can't believe we're losing a game where we managed to score 6 runs through the first 5 innings against CC. God job Farrell.

This is just beyond ridiculous. The manager just pissed away a 3 run lead and turned it into a 1 run deficit. And guess who's waiting at the end of the game, Johnny? I mean really.

Ryan Dumpster may have single handedly managed to fire up ARod and to bring some cohesion to the Yankees. It was disgustingly stupid.

Just read through the reactions to Dempster plunking A-Rod, and it seems that a majority of people didn't like it. Really? I could go off right now, but I'll just say that it's disappointing that people feel this way. You're telling me that if you were at this game, you'd be the sole Sox fan sitting down after the pitch, saying "aw shucks, we let a runner on base! This decreases our chances of winning the game by a quarter of a percent." I know I'll get lectured for this comment by the know it all's on this board, but you have a chance to send a message to A-Rod, to do something that almost every single baseball fan would love to see, and you're the NYY bitter rival, and you frown upon it? SMH. And damn Dempster sucks and should have been taken out earlier (we've never said this before), but man do I love what he did to A-Rod. Absolutely love it. Pretty much. To echo what others have said, I don't like A-Rod, but my dislike of him certainly doesn't extend to violent retribution. Violent retribution that, I should add, is completely pointless. What "message" did Dempster send to A-Rod? That he should hit a massive bomb off him later in the game? Mission accomplished, I guess.

Farrell has made some really dumb decisions this season. So has Sox management. These kind of moves are just unforgivable.
Dempster needs to be made a long man. He is just plain bad at this point.

Tazawa up again. I'm fine with using him in a 2-run game (I don't really care who's leading) but I still think he didn't really need to pitch yesterday...

Tonight's a perfect example of the mis-use of bullpen modern managers do. Workman was throwing very well. Could have gotten you thru the 8th as well as Morales and Tazawa. Farrell has to know MFY's pinch hit for Overbay if he brings a lefty in. Now, he won't be able to use Tazawa tomorrow.

Seriously though, how much does Dempster suck? He's just not a good pitcher.

"You know who'll be pitching for the Yankees." "Yeah, Robertson. He's hot."
That's actually not as stupid as the commentators made it out to be...
