Have to take that out with Posey at the plate. Anyone else and it's really worth the argument

Why does Eck seem so flabbergasted when a guy is successful without a dominant fastball? He also feels the need to point it out every single pitcher. Vogelsong, Peavy, Breslow, etc. Ahhh young Grasshopper... It's because The Eck won 20 games, Cy Young and is in the HOF without a dominant FB :-)

This is not the situation where I want to see Brayan Villareal. He's wild as hell and Scutaro is happy to take a walk.

Can't lose to teams like the Giants.

Not really. You let the wild Morales walk the bases loaded then you bring in the wild Villareal for the loss.
Farrell logic. Walkoff walk coming in 3, 2, 1.

2-0 on Scutaro, if I were him, I'm taking from here on out.

Game over. Goddamnit, Farrell.
Ironically, he's probably the leading candidate for coach of the year.

My God Farrell, just because I've been defending you these past weeks doesn't mean you have to go out of your way to give away games for no good reason.

Just an awful, dispiriting loss that came out of nowhere. Farrell should be ashamed of himself.

Oh man. The merciless bashing of Farrell will begin when there was nothing his fault here. Morales all of a sudden lost it and only Villarel was ready. He didn't have time to warm anyone up.

Terrible choice to use Villareal in that situation. Probably the worst possible choice imaginable.

The right move is absolutely to keep Morales in as opposed to putting in the guy who just came up from the minors for the first time since April and has a career 5.52 BB/9.

Morales all of a sudden lost it? He's never had control to begin with. If you are set on using Villareal, who is even wilder, you don't do so with the BASES LOADED. How anybody can continue to defend the horrible job he's doing lately is beyond me. First the game against NY where he left Dempster in and now this. Inexcusable.

That and no AB for Ortiz in a one run game? Not sure I understood the move to put Napoli in late. Farrell did seem to out think himself in this one.

How many games have Farrell cost this team lately? Its starting to pile up. When the team is struggling offensively you don't need the manager to exacerbate it by making dumb tactical moves.
They better shake off the slump soon or else its 2011 again, even worse since you don't have the 10 game lead to blow.

The right move is absolutely to keep Morales in as opposed to putting in the guy who just came up from the minors for the first time since April and has a career 5.52 BB/9. He's pitching with a BP that looks deep, yet isn't. Workman will probably be needed to go long tomorrow and it's a tie game. Uehara He isn't going to bring into a tie game. Britton has been getting blistered of late. I see where you are coming from, really. Morales looked good early on, but appeared to be getting flustered after he failed to get that 1 call on the sweeping curve, that's when his control seemed to go awry. Then he didn't even look that good with Sanchez when he hit him and the count at 2-2. His control was 2-2. Good question why Ross allowed him to throw the heater inside and the target was inside. You can blame the C-P combo for that combo, Ross had to know his pitcher was flustered with the umpire still over that call earlier.
