Not just that, but a torn ACL might shelve him for part of 2014 as well. Bleh.

Gronk out for the season... Sigh. I'm terrified that he's going to turn into a Tony C-esque "what could've been" story with all of the injuries he suffers. Or maybe Bo Jackson would be a better comp. Baldelli? Whatever, let's get there first.

Oh, look, another blatant PI call screwed up by the officials.
Regardless, you ain't going to a Super Bowl if you can't keep the Dolphins outta the end zone in that situation. I'm not even mad at the Pats - just way too many injuries on defense to expect much from.

Oh, look, another blatant PI call screwed up by the officials. Which one do you mean? Edelman sure ain't helping the cause when he's bitching for PI every pass thrown in his direction.

Third down throw to Hooman looked pretty bad, but I don't know that it was "blatant."
Seriously, this might be the least dangerous 2 seed ever.

Watching the Sunday Night got me thinking how different the NFL is from the MLB in the way of how you should consider someone for MVP. Andrew Luck's numbers were hardly MVP like, but he was without his top WR, down 21-3 at the half, with one of the world's worst O-line against a terrific defense, and on the road. That kid is a leading candidate for the MVP thus far and even though he was a 1st overall pick it's been an unnerving steal for the Colts. What a game. Funny that I wrote this on this thread and now we're facing the Colts, who just got the greatest comeback I have ever witnessed on football. Scary, scary proposition. Oh, and old friend Deion is helping the DC for Indy.

Spikes just went on the IR. Brutal, brutal year for the Pats injury-wise.

What's the cap hit to cut Amendola?

Need talent on the defensive side and receivers but heck let's trade for a bunch of 3rd/5th round picks.

Amendola isn't getting cut - no savings there. Team went as far as possible without 4 All-Pros and a fifth if you count Talib being out most if this game. Just didn't have the horses.

Yeah i didn't want to make sound like this was a horrible loss. They overcame a lot of things a did what they could. But the defense needs to get better and the receiving core as well.

Also, Richard Sherman might be my favorite player in the NFL.

Also, Richard Sherman might be my favorite player in the NFL. Wow. But then again, he did say into a camera the thoughts that every pro athlete thinks during every moment of every game, so yeah, he's history's greatest monster.
