Series win probability (assuming 55% for games 6 and 7): 73.6.% (Of course, we have squandered much better within memory.) Umm, game 5 is still going on.

Farrell mentioned pregame that Victorino might be able to do a short stint as a defensive replacement. Now would be the time for it (with Nava going to LF and Gomes being replaced). I think they're saving Napoli for a potential double-switch situation or (god forbid) extra innings. That is what Carp is for. Would be nice to be able to pinch-hit for Drew with Napoli if the game gets closer/tied.

Is it Fenway syndrome?, why does every fly ball to left look like a HR to me?

I would have left Lester in to face Adams.

Alex Speier ?@alexspeier 54s Lester looks injured. Think he must have injured his side on the big swing in the 7th.

It's Koji Time.
Amazing performance by Lester.

Is it Fenway syndrome?, why does every fly ball to left look like a HR to me? It's mostly cause Kozma swings hard and it looks like its trouble, but it just ends up being a can of corn because he doesn't have much strength. It's the third time he's done it this series. Every time, for a split second, I think "of all people, Pete Kozma???"

I would have left Lester in to face Adams. I thought about it too, but Lester didn't have much against Freeze and Kozma, he was leaving way too many balls up. Not sure if the right move, but defensible.

yeah, me too. Uehara's one weakness is that he can give up a HR sometimes ...
But, at least we get to see a double switch! More awesome NL baseball excitement!

Not sure if the right move, but defensible. If Lester is tiring and/or injured, it's clearly the right move. But I have to say, Koji of late has made me more nervous than he did most of the rest of the season (read: only a tiny bit nervous). He hasn't been quite as otherworldly in the playoffs.

I don't like this move. Lester should have stayed in. I love Koji but a LH power hitter against a guy pitching his 3rd game in a row is something I really didn't want to see.

Three terrific pitches by Koji. All exactly where Ross wanted it.

Guess Farrell was picking among two right answers. Ideally I would have loved to see Koji get a rest. Meanwhile, Lester should have plenty in the tank for a few innings in a game 7.
