@buster_ESPN: ESPN's John Fisher dug this out: Of Cespedes's first 66 career HRs, 47 would've been HR here in Fenway. Probably because of trajectory

Irrational not-really-serious thought: why did Buchholz have to have a phenomenal inning right there? I was interested in Cherington's interview, and Buch cuts it short by mowing the Yanks down.
(But seriously, he looked good in that inning... hope it continues.)

Oh Jackie...
I once agree with Kruk. Bradley's swing is fugly and is late on fastballs.

Both Bradley and Bogaerts have looked terrible lately. I really would have thought that Bogaerts would have gotten out of this by now.

Kruk with actually a good point about Buchholz's lack of command. How does expect the pitch not to fade outside when he's finishing his delivery off-balance? He's only 30. He'll figure it out.

So so true. I'm just frustrated by his struggles. That's what happens with young players though: they'll struggle.

I don't care what the media says about their "unwavering" confidence, Bogaerts and Bradley look like scared little sheep up there. Late on fastballs they could be absolutely ripping, and not being close to as selective as they have shown to be.

Don't remember seeing a HR hit to that one seat in the triangle.

So I'm sure the discussion that Papi wouldn't have seen that pitch if Cespedes wasn't hitting behind him probably will be brought up soon.

I wonder if Ellsbury would have caught that liner to center that Ellsbury hit.

We're talking about one of the all-time bad pitching performances here folks. This is pathetic.

As pathetic as it gets. Buchholz has no business on a major league rotation. He's a disgrace.
