WE SCORED! YES, dont screw this up farrell bring in Tazawa I wish they would bring in Hembree.......give him a chance to close it out and see what he's got......it's not like we need the wins and a blown save is going to hurt us.

This has been a total abortion.......christ sake!!
Tazawa trying to close - haven't we been there done that already?
Bogaerts could have come home and cut down the run......Pedroia should have thrown on to 1st and try to get the double play.....just what I need - to get pissed off at 2am

Why on earth didn't Xander throw home? Wow. They were at double play depth. And they still had PLENTY of time to get the out at home.

John Wasdin could look like Koufax facing Middlebrooks & Bradley
Bradley NEEDS to go back to the exact same stance & approach he was using in the minors in 2012
Middlebrooks is like Rob Deer......except Rob Deer actually hit the ball far occasionally

They were at double play depth. And they still had PLENTY of time to get the out at home. bases loaded and no outs, you take the double play and concede the run. Pedroia should have turned it.

The smartest man in baseball doesn't agree:
Alex Cora ?@ac13alex @peteabe No, if they are playing for two you go for two. That's not on him. Dustin needs to try to turn two.
Alex Cora ?@ac13alex Infield depths: 1 regular, 2 DP, 3 halfway, 4 in. If you play 2 you go for the DP, if you want the SS to make a decision you play him at 3.
This run more likely on Butterfield and if they scored again, it would have been on Pedroia. Bogaerts executed the game plan, Pedroia didn't.

Just awful to be East Coast fan that has to watch extra inning game @ West coast team in different time zone. All I want is go to bed. Xander should have throw out @ home for 1st out to prevent from being tied & tried to get DP next time to escape it as victory by 4-3. It's awful to stay awake like that.

The good news is we are much more likely to get a peek at Butler tomorrow.

The Orioles were very good at winning in extra inning. Buck Showalter is the reason. John Farrell can't manage that situation. Get clue from him!

Hope that Hembree saves the team & prove Farrell wrong if they win the game. Please get the run(s) by mid order line up!

It's frustrate to watch the team getting only 6 hits in 17 innings.

And they still had PLENTY of time to get the out at home. bases loaded and no outs, you take the double play and concede the run. Pedroia should have turned it. 3 outs away from winning the game and a very fast runner going to first while there's a guaranteed out at the plate -- Sorry, I get that out every time and deal with the next two outs afterwards. Pedroia agrees (although he should have just tried turing the DP once Xander flipped to him).

Hembree does it again, 4 scoreless innings.
