Ugh, I realize that FOX is excited about these new cross-flexing possibilities but can I please get Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts back?
Revis mostly on Tate, this will be a real test for Brandon Browner.
Meanwhile, great play by Ryan Allen just now as Danny Aiken continues to demonstrate that a dedicated long snapper is a waste of a roster spot.

I think both will be needed for any playoff run.

He should've shown up on time - dumb***...
Blount is one of the strangest backs I know though. He's so slow to get going and can lose yardage so easily but then he's like a runaway train busting runs like crazy.

Raiola is a free agent after this year. Fortunately for him, none of the AFC East teams rate to be looking for a center.

Non-Patriots related: Odell Beckham Jr. Just made the best catch I've ever seen. Wait until you see this replay. I don't think I'm exaggerating that it could be the best catch in history. Never seen anything like it.

Snap counts, per Reiss: Vereen (62), LeGarrette Blount (17), Brandon Bolden (2) and Gray (0). Might've taken a few of Blount's snaps, but they clearly weren't trying ground and pound.

Wonder if he could make that catch without his sticky gloves. Great catch but that ball was coming close to straight down and stuck to his gloves... Someone should check those things... More impressive was the fighting off the defender more so than the one handed grab.
Not being a homer but Gronks one handed catch was just as if not more difficult and Brady threw a bullet line drive.

Mallet's done for the year. Sounds like the Pats conditional 7th rounder will stay a 7th rounder, I believe he needed to play 40% of Texans snaps for the pick to be higher

Good news: Jordy Nelson on the cover of SI this week. Probably means that Revis will shut him down completely.

Yesterday was only a walkthrough, but Chandler Jones listed at limited participation is still a good sign. I for one wasn't expecting to hear from him again for another week or two.

Don Jones is even further down on the DB depth chart than Bolden is on the RB depth chart, so if they think they can afford to cut a special teamer Jones would seem like a better candidate. Hey, guess who got released today.

Chandler Jones listed as Questionable, which is a great step. He won't play and better not if he's not close to 100%. Just nice to see the progress.
Jones was claimed by the Dolphins. That's too bad.

Hey, guess who got released today. What's odd about this is no one was signed to replace him... Smells weird. I wonder if he did something off the field.

They're probably just going to promote someone off the practice squad. They've done it before - you cut the guy early in the week, then promote the practice squad guy later in the week as long as you don't need the roster spot sooner. EDIT: Darius Fleming promoted, right on cue.

Tough kicking conditions today, glad we have one of the best in Gostkowski.
Anyway, time for the offense to get going.

Punt on 4th and 2 in first series was bad enough already....
