We resigned Danny Aiken so he could snap it too low and cause a blocked punt? Awesome. I'm sure Ninkovich wouldn't have managed that.

Well, up 20-10, but Patriots are going to need to step up their game when facing a better team than the 'phins. Need to get some more people involved in catching passes than just Edelman and Gronk.
Revis got beat badly once, fortunately Wallace couldn't stay in bounds. But I'd prefer more peace and quiet on the island.

Defense gotta come up big here, offense struggling in second half.

Boy, I hope the heat was the big difference because the Patriots looked SLOW today.

D-Line was very disappointing. No sacks (Mayo is not a Lineman) and Knowshon Moreno ran all over them. Big Vince whiffed big time on the final Phins touchdown.
O-Line... didn't we have one of the best O-Lines in the NFL back in 2011 or so? What happened?
Further disappointments include Brandon LaFell and Darrell Revis.
I would count Amendola as a disappointment but to be honest I didn't expect much from him in the first place...

Revis is not going to be a disappointment - he's so far and away the best corner in the game.
But that 2nd half was as dreadful a performance as I can remember. I'm not sure they did a single thing right.

We lost a road game to a pretty good team in awful heat and didnt suffer any big injuries. I think we'll be okay.

True. But that 2nd half performance was still a thing of horror.

Tommy Kelly having a pretty good game against the Chargers. Showing up in the backfield, drawing double teams.

Look at his dive over the pile at the end of the play. New goal-line back?!?!?!!?

Look at his dive over the pile at the end of the play. New goal-line back?!?!?!!? Hm... can Chandler Jones run a fade route? That might solve our red zone problems!

That was... Humbling, I guess? It's been a LONG while since the last time the Pats were this outclassed.
What's up with prime time games turning into blowouts this season?

I'm not usually a McDaniels hater, but that was absolutely the wrong offensive gameplan last night.
Granted, the defense was even worse.

So are we officially at the Point where Brady is a league average QB?

I wasn't thinking warm and fuzzy thoughts about Josh McDaniels last night, but then again...
And yet I have to ask... why did it take a throw from Jimmy Garoppolo to show us that Gronk can still Gronk his way into the endzone?

So are we officially at the Point where Brady is a league average QB? This is probably the most cogent analysis I've seen: grantland.com/the-triangle/new-england-patriots-kanas-city-chiefs-tom-brady/He's clearly in decline, but I think he's still above-average. The problem is that every single offensive lineman they've played so far has looked well below-average. The most startling thing has been how bad Solder and Vollmer have looked. We all thought they were one of the better tackle combos in the league entering the year, but they've both played terribly so far.

It's pretty simple, really. Other teams draft offensive linemen in the first three rounds. The Patriots have Dante Scarnecchia. Except they don't.

Solder (17th overall) and Vollmer (58th overall) are regressing badly. Cannon (138th but had a 2nd rd draft grade on him before being diagnosed with cancer) is as well. Maybe I'm not connecting the dots on your point correctly (a distinct possibility, I admit) but even the highly regarded and/or drafted OLs are failing.
