See what happens Dustin when you make up your mind to go to RF? Of course a couple of innings too late

Come on, Hanley Pablo.

Exactly... Any pitcher who has that much control issues should of been pulled. Kelly is a bum. Any guy that walks 7 guys in 4 innings should be designated for assignment. Walks given up by Cy Kelly, by game this year: 2, 2, 1, 3, 0. Recency bias much?

Kelly should be in the pen. Or dealt to someone who thinks he's a starter. It's like watching Webster. Just a time bomb.

At least Craig is leading off the next inning.

Kelly needs to be taken out... I mean come on, it's only 2-0. And 7 walks! He can't be taken out yet. Haven't you heard, it really doesn't matter what a pitcher does every inning before because the next batter or inning the probability is that he won't do it again...or something like that. You have to keep every starting pitcher in for 90 pitches minimum, otherwise you can't manage a staff....some people say.

Craig should try hitting lefty, might have more success.

Batted balls finding holes (that egregious Buchholz hook after 62 pitches) is not the same things as SEVEN walks.

That's not true when he's walking everybody and has no control, people saying that are referring to pitchers getting hurt by hit sequencing. Barnes should have been ready and Kelly gone after those last two walks, and maybe it's not a 5 - 1 game.

"I really don't like home runs unless it ties the game" - Moron Yeah, that was a stupid comment. Didn't Jeff "If OBP is so important why they don't show it on the scoring board?" Francoeur said the same exact thing when he was playing for the Mets a few years ago? Edit: Yep! www.hardballtimes.com/quote-of-the-day081909/

This is probably the last time we see Craig start. Holt will be back Sunday and Victorino will be in Oakland. Its time to send him to Pawtucket.

That's it. I'm not watching/listening/going until Alan Craig is gone. We have options. JBJ and Castillo and Brentz are all there. Somebody let me know when he's DFA

Castillo should be called up to play RF, Craig should be DFA'd, Victorino should be traded and Bradley stays in AAA for insurance. It's pretty simple.

This concept that you should keep a pitcher in because of fluky BABIP can be easily dismissed also...and that's my point. I don't need some maco-based formula that uses god knows how many innings to prove that a pitcher can get by a rough spot...be it control or BABIP. It's Nostradamian type of analysis and I think it's bunk.
