Right elbow tightness. Ffffffff See you in 2017, Clay. We can just decline his option if it's that bad.

This should be a 1-1 game. Very frustrating.

I really hope they were just being extra cautious with Buchholz, because that would ruin he season in every single sense.

And what do you know, Breslow warming. A game that should be 1-1 is going to turn into a game that is 8-1

Tough to argue with the logic behind playing Napoli tonight.
Hey, wait, no it's not.

Why is Leon hitting? The only reason he was in the game is because Buchholz was starting anyway...

Wow, pitcher gets taken out after exactly 3 turns through the rotation? Why can't we have a manager like that?

Yeah Justin Wilson only has reverse splits because of BABIP, his advanced-stat splits are more normal. So I guess Girardi is still a work in progress.

Michael mgoetze · 6m6 minutes ago @mitchellichtman Yankees just hooked Pineda mid-inning after 89 pitches, 1 ER ... and exactly 27 BF. Have you been giving them advice? Mitchel Lichtman @mitchellichtman · 3m3 minutes ago mgoetze lol. They probably follow my Tweets. Honestly, with a 3-run lead late in a game, it's probably a good time to keep your starter in. Mitchel Lichtman @mitchellichtman · 2m2 minutes ago mgoetze rest your pen. I only recommend yanking your non-ace starters in medium to high leverage situations.

Any chance that the Red Sox have of coming back, Barnes seems to be trying to make sure it isnt possible.
Edit: Actually Farrell is too bringing in Breslow...

I don't mind using Breslow against Stephen Drew. But there was noone warming behind him to face the next batter...

Did anyone actually expect anything different with Breslow pitching?

Breslow doing a Breslow.
Making sure all inherited runners score, but none of his own so he doesn't hurt his era.

Did anyone actually expect anything different with Breslow pitching? I dunno... John Farrell? Ben Cherington? Carl Willis? Larry Luchinno? There must be SOMEONE who thinks Breslow can get outs.

I don't even think they do. I'm starting to believe that Breslow is Farrell's or Cherington's long lost cousin or something....that's the only explanation.

Manager " What does the saber metric book say to do when my best pitcher gets hurt for the 7th year in a row"
Veteran player " Bend over and kiss it goodbye, but don't bunt"
