Why do the Sox managers rest several of their best players at the same time? Francona did it and Farrell did it. It seems unfair to the fans who bought tickets to this game not to see Betts or Bogaerts or Hanley.

I would hope being fair to the fans who bought tickets never, ever factors into their decision-making. Dear lord.

No De Aza to the Dodgers. They just landed Chase Utley. The Giants might be a good landing spot for De Aza though.

The bottom of the lineup has been absolutely destructive lately. The team has been piling up runs. A little decent pitching and it's easy to dream on what they might look like going forward. Dombrowski's been in the booth. I would guess he's been impressed with Bradley so far.

JBJ takes a nasty breaking ball that's a strike but he do much with, then with two strikes on him he takes a fastball on the outside corner to the opposite field for a HR.
It's the little things that make you believe he's really turned the corner.

Sox can fulfill their goal of playing meaningful baseball games in Sept.
with all 4 other East teams in the race, Sox schedule is non-stop excitement the entire month.
