How is any of this JF's fault? I mean, I don't like him either. But this is ridiculous.

How is any of this JF's fault? I mean, I don't like him either. But this is ridiculous. Having your players mentally prepared to play is the job of the manager. No excuse for players to be making mental mistakes in the field. Zero! You saw it again with Shaw off the wall to wide a turn at first. Inexcusable. But yet we see it most every game. That is my issue with Farrell. Player accountability.

I was concerned about this, even when Shaw was hitting so well to start the year. The fact is, 25-year-olds hitting .250 in AAA tend not to become .300 hitters in the MLB. I wonder if the league is starting to catch up to him. I think it's more about him playing every single game this season and that he may have some kind of nagging injury. He needs a break. He's always been a very streaky hitter. He came into this game on a 12-game slide, which is perfectly ordinary for a streaky guy. Manny use to get messed up for 12 games minimum, sometimes a few more. Hopefully, he's broken out today.

Ryan Hanigan adds zero value to this team.

Seriously, enough of Hanigan. Enough. It's ridiculous. Career catching Wright, including minors. WPBA is PB and WP per 9 innings. Catcher IP PB WP WPBA Swihart 88.3 14 4 1.83 Hanigan 70.0 16 5 2.70 Vazquez 36.0 2 2 1.00

Love how 90% of the BP falls the F off at the same time

I've never seen a stretch of bad relieving like this. These guys have been unthinkably bad. Just an automatic run the second they come into games.

That's on the player. And I've wanted Farrell fired for 2 years now. Another one for the ignore list.

I know this doesn't have anything to do with the current game or conversation, but look at the ump's calls from yesterday lol.

Matt Barnes walk rate per 9 innings: 5.4 Give me Hembree, give me Martin, Give me Varrvaro but not this guy! I know people like gun readings but the guy just sucks.

Vazquez looked 100% more comfortable catching the knuckleball when Hanigan had to leave that one game early. Not sure why they don't just put the catcher best able to handle it behind the plate, especially considering how important Wright is to this rotation.

Handling the bullpen which he's terrible at. I'm not going to go searching for stupid reasons to get mad at him. There are plenty of legitimate reasons to fire him. But he's not actually controlling the players on the field with a video game controller. These aren't Little League players. They know what they're supposed to do.

JBJ now 3/24, 2B, HR, 6 BB, 3 SO starting from the day the streak ended. He's had some bad luck, but he's hitting a lot of weak grounders as well.
