Makes sense, get Jackson, then flip the other pick you get for a Vet. You get a great young player and a great Vet. Best of both worlds. Crowder would have to be heading back to Chicago. You have to think that Blake Griffin is the free agent target with all these wing players coming to Boston. It could be that, or they plan on playing Jackson at PF. Which also makes sense. Anything else on Bulls rumor? I'm surprised this is happening right now. Usually trades go down right before or during draft. I would also think it would take a little bit more than Crowder and a future Laker, Kings or Sixers pick. |

I'm just glad the Celtics might find a way to keep both Smart and Bradley on this roster. I really like both players. Think about Smart, Bradley, Brown and Jackson all playing together. That would be one great defensive line up. |

I would hope, at the least, that the deal stipulates we get the higher of the Sixers and Lakers pick next year.
At the outside, I would want the option to swap our pick for that higher pick and our pick for the future Sac pick. If Philly really wants the best player in the draft, they should be willing to consider that. Maybe there are a couple of throw-ins we could include (Jackson, 2nds) to close it.

I 100% think Danny is just getting greedy and overthinking stuff right now. I'd take Fultz and run. But I'll reserve judgment for now, Danny has absolutely earned that.

I'm not sure if I like the Butler trade part of this to be honest. I'd just stack up picks for the future. I don't think this team should go for it now. If Danny thinks Jackson is better than Fultz, then I trust him.

Going down to 3 means you don't need to trade a Crowder or Smart to sign a max guy. After that, you need to match salaries (within a certain amount to get Butler) |
