Hat tip to Farrell for starting Bradley vs. a lefty. He is not a platoon player, nor should he be treated as one.

I think Mookie is the best baserunner in the sport

Nice start by Mookie - weird play at first, hope Pedey is OK. Good to manufacture a run early.

Price looks right (through the first inning) nice finish on his pitches, good location. Fingers crossed...

Price's max velocity of his 4 seam fastball last season was 95.9. He just threw one 96.3 in the 2nd inning he's pitched this year.

Got to win this one with a reserve Inf. other than Xander. Going to be tough even if Price continues looking good.

The nibbler is back. You'd think Price would learn something from watching Price every 5th day.

Who has the worst lineup, Mariners or White Sox?

Welp guess Price isn't sharp yet. MLB Gameday's 9 box grid showed Cabrerra with one red hot box (inside third, middle height) and David just hit it with a fastball at 94.9, Melkie obliged., damn.

Who has the worst lineup, Mariners or White Sox? Red Sox and Mariners have the same wRC+ thus far. Safeco is a killer.

Interesting game - Red Sox need to do more when facing average or below pitchers. Price just needs to throw stikes.
Nice homegrown lineup for the Sox - Travis, Pedroia (until hurt), Bogaertz, Marrero, Bradley, Betts, Vazquez - only missing Benny.
Big difference with the staff - only Barnes and Scott.

Starting JBJ against a lefty when he homered yesterday and is a streaky hitter, isn't something Farrell needs to be applauded for. I understand he gets all the heat when a move blows up and none of the praise when things go right, but starting your all star CF against lefties seem pretty elementary.

Who gets credit for Mookie? Mookie gets credit for Mookie's HRs and doubles, but Farrell gets the blame when he makes outs. He'd be hitting 1.000 if it weren't for Farrell. If only we had a 100 year old manager who was good 25 years ago, he'd make sure that Mookie didn't get any outs.
