Who gets credit for Mookie? Mookie gets credit for Mookie's HRs and doubles, but Farrell gets the blame when he makes outs. He'd be hitting 1.000 if it weren't for Farrell. If only we had a 100 year old manager who was good 25 years ago, he'd make sure that Mookie didn't get any outs. Are you suggesting Earl Weaver, Sparky Anderson, Billy Martin, or Jimmy Leyland?

Sweet DP - nice escape (we needed that shut down inning...walking the first batter...yikes. Escaped!)

Guessing Price is done. Not a bad outing for him. Hope he can build on it.

And all of the blame. Seems reasonable. Thanks for helping people who want Farrell fired for legitimate reasons look like morons through association. Starting JBJ against a lefty when he homered yesterday and is a streaky hitter, isn't something Farrell needs to be applauded for. I understand he gets all the heat when a move blows up and none of the praise when things go right, but starting your all star CF against lefties seem pretty elementary. We're dealing with a troll there.

dnfl333, the guy who literally believes that every single negative thing is Farrell's fault. He's the only thing standing between the Red Sox going 162-0.

Joe Kelly has seemed to mix up his delivery to the plate the last couple outings. Trying to manufacture some deception?

What a disaster Barnes has been lately. He can't throw strikes and when he does, it's hard contact.

The triple and double were hardly hit hard. Pretty brutal results on weak hits.

Vintage bullpen management by Farrell. Start with a clean inning hey john.
No reason to pull Kelly with Sale going tomorrow...

Gotta go to Thornburg or Smith in that spot.

Gotta go to Thornburg or Smith in that spot. It's OK - we have Blaine Boyer warming up.

Just feels like Hanley hasn't had a really meaningful result in a long time.

Just a good old slump...hitting the ball hard right at people - opponents hitting it weakly where they ain't. Inability to string hits together....that's baseball - but it's not much fun to watch!

Perfect example today why the inconsistency of Farrell is the problem..
Kelly in the 8th has a zero era with 8 k. Kelly has appeared in the 8th inning 10 times this season. Why would you use kelly today in the 6th for 1 inning with a lead when you do not have a setup reliever?
If you bring in Barnes or any other RP in the 6th or 7th to get to Kelly, if they give up the lead you have 9 outs to get it back..
Take the blinders off gentlemen. The facts are undisputed..
