There is the Holt-Núñez-León trio again, ugh.

In Xander we trust. His consistent defense this year has kind of flown under the radar. Considering the revolving doors at 2nd and 3rd base, he's been a rock. And he is still only 25! He plays with a bit of flair, as JBJ does...fun to watch.

Moreland hurt... the lineup is really going to take a hit if he needs a DL stint.

Steve Pearce is ready It appeared that he slid into an exposed bolt of the camera well frame. Someone from the Red Sox organization has a lot of explaining to do as to why this bolt was exposed and injured a Red Sox player. This is no excuse for this negligence.

Steve Pearce is ready We already have Devers out and he'll be out for at least the first two games of the Rays series. Who is going to be the call-up to replace Moreland, Travis? That is a massive drop off.

Good play Nunez. Swihart with a great pick for a guy that doesn't play 1st

We could see some lineups with Holt, Núñez, León, and Sam Travis, which is a bit scary.

I may be missing something obvious, but is Kinsler not able to play every day (or regularly I mean)?

I may be missing something obvious, but is Kinsler not able to play every day (or regularly I mean)? He's 34 and just coming off a hamstring injury. These day games after night games require a lot of rest days for guys like that.

Well, Price is on a pitch count pace to get through 7. Looking good...now it's time for our bats to wake up

These day games after night games require a lot of rest days for guys like that. We are going to need him when it matters. They are going to ease him back in

Price is pitching well at least. After throwing 20 to get through the 1st nice to see him under 70 through 5

Those high bouncers to first are a lot more difficult than they look. Nice play by Swihart.

Leon may have a low BA, but he works counts (he's seen a lot of pitches from this kid today) and seems to get on when it is badly needed. It's time, Sox hitters!
