I've been tuned in closely to the bruins this year, it's true it's not why we're losing. There is a laundry list of why. Chara is old as shit and consistently makes bad plays now. Pasta is still apparently injured or completely forgot how to play the game. Players regularly passing terribly, shooting directly into skates. I mean, it's a junior hockey list of don't dos. And a couple games the Bruins have just outright stopped playing for long stretches of time. It's really been their worst hockey since mid-season.

their zone entries on offense are like they forgot how to play the game, constantly forcing it. Powerplay just goes cold at the most important time of the year.
Best 2018-2019 Boston Celtics impression? Stanley Cup Bruins 2019...

I think if the Blues were going to win the Stanley Cup they would have wrapped it up at home in Game 6. I would have to think (and hope) that the Bruins will take Game 7 in Boston. Hard to imagine 1-3 in your own home building.
Plus there's some of that Dewey defeats Truman stuff, paint the World Series logo too soon, type of stuff that St. Louis had going on. That's never a good omen.
I do think the Bruins will take Game 7. Looking forward to watching. Not much of a hockey fan anymore - lost the passion of it when my Hartford Whalers moved - and really had no desire to root for the Hurricanes (former Whalers, but doesn't feel like that even matters any more!), but a Game 7 is a Game 7 - especially with a Boston team involved. Go Bruins!

It seems so basic-we always win when Marchand scores. So, just leave him on the ice and feed him every shot until he gets one in. Boom, Stanley Cup.
