Sports are f*cking cruel man, I swear to God I should just quit them. Team lost focus in the 3rd quarter, the Bucks are hitting everything from anywhere, the refs are in regular season mode and now every bounce is going to an open Bucks player. Brutal. +5 to -4 to -9 first 3 quarters. Our bench couldn't score. Not what I expected for a home game

+5 to -4 to -9 first 3 quarters. Our bench couldn't score. Not what I expected for a home game Terry was ass in this game, he looked unplayable. And we really missed Baynes. It's tough, the Bucks are ridiculously loaded so our margin for error is really thin. When we missed some key shots the game was gone just like that, the body language on the players told you they weren't coming back. Bucks could chip man, they're really incredible and they're doing this without Brogdon. The only thing telling me they won't is that Giannis would have to face off against arguably the greatest defender of all time in Draymond Green so yeah good luck with that. It could happen though, the Warriors have looked somewhat shaky at times. I really feel like Danny conceded this season far too early when he made no moves at the deadline.

Homecourt advantage just flipped back to the Bucks. Must win game 4 or this is over.

If you play D, it's a foul. I just watched the game, fast forwarding through the foul shots and it took about 30 minutes. It was also a lot of fun watching Giannis and their coach complain about every foul called against their team.

From the ESPN post game analysis
"Irving, on the other hand, spent his night playing hero ball, jacking up one isolated jumper after another and failing to do enough to get his teammates involved. The Celtics settled for far too many long jumpers in this one, taking one more shot in the paint (27) than the Bucks made there (26).
"That's what they do," said Gordon Hayward, who had a very forgettable night (2-for-8 for 10 points). "They really suck in when people drive and meet you at the rim. Sometimes it's two, three, four guys are around. They are doing a good job of flying out afterward and trying to scramble."
Irving was totally outplayed in this one.

We knew this would happen with Giannis same exact thing last year. It's one thing for him to kill you, another to keep letting other people kill you. Just like last year I'm just as frustrated by the no call on Giannis when he plays D. The way he's playing he should foul out or come close every game. Yet the Celtics are getting frustrated and it's really hurting them. Focus needs to be on D, not offense. Don't let the Bucks control the tempo. These runs are helped in part by the Celtics play. They change the way they play, start taking quick shots. Which in turn hurts the D even more. You can't try and outscore that team. That won't work, you can't do that enough in seven games. They have more firepower.
So focus on D, team ball, and just keep playing your game. The goal should be holding them under a 100. You play those players, not the offensive lineup we played last night. I find it funny the Rozier was brought up, because him and Brown were the only two guys with positive box scores. Hayward if he's not scoring well is a crazy negative on D. Playing him big minutes with Irving just makes things worse. If the Bucks are going to play small ball I play Rozier more and Hayward less. At the very least it increases your athletic ability, engery and D.
I'm not going into Irving again, but he needs to be a lot better. I love the free throws. Yet crazy long stretches where Tatum and Brown get nothing. Like I watch Brown throw down one of the more impressive dunks of the year, then nothing. If I'm Stevens I want even shot amounts for Tatum, Brown, and Irving, not Irving taking as many as those two combined. He's just trying to do to much and he can't be a Giannis game in and game out. We have to win being the better team, not in a Giannis vs Irving battle. We'll never win that battle in a seven game series.
So play team ball, move the ball in the half court, no tons of quick hard shots. Yet also attack on the fast break. I'd start Semi and let him go one on one with Giannis. Then rotate in Baynes and also Horford on him. Yet the focus has to be there role players and stopping them. What's the point having four guys on Giannis that open up all their three point shooters if you can't stop him? He did the same thing last year and Middleton was also awesome, yet we limited the other guys last year with great D.

Marcus Smart- available tonight. He's in right now. When the Celtics get desperate they get him in there.

Hayward has been a complete zero in this series. Kyrie has been pressing in a must win gane. This is why the Celtics got him in the first place and he's struggling.

Wow, Kyrie playing like the worst player on either team. All alone on Ego Island.

Can someone tell me why Smart, Rozier and Irving are all playing at the same time? Against the Milwaukee Bucks? Thanks

This season is over. This team isn't good enough right now, Danny, do your thing and dismantle this thing and get more superstars.

Rozier, Hayward, Kyrie, Horford have all been bad tonight. Give Smart a pass because it's his first game back.

Kyrie should be embarrassed whining about fouls then playing like he has.

The math equation for this...Giannis is greater than Kyrie..
At least the Bruins showed up to play tonight...not Celts or Sox

Didn't watch the game, I had some stuff to do. I'm looking at the box score and LMAO at Smart going 1-7, I knew this would happen. Don't know how many contested long jumpers Kyrie took but I'm guessing it was plenty. This team is in a terrible place right now and frankly this season has been sh*t to follow.
No team is ever winning dick with Kyrie as the primary option on offense.

9 for 41 from 3. What happened to this team?
Unless there is a miracle, we will see a merciful end to a pretty unenjoyable season. Significant changes ahead??
