Umm I take that to mean the issues I posted, his knee, back and weight are issues that were red flagged, just like Sweats is a red flag issue, not a current injury. Right? That's not a recent injury, just the medical exam shows something they don't like.

That's not a recent injury, just the medical exam shows something they don't like. I honestly don’t know, i took the comments on the broadcast to be something more recent but that could be wrong. Sweats heart stuff was from the combine and supposedly it was a misdiagnosis according to a second opinion this week...

I don't think it's anything major, that stuff comes out. Just a bunch of little issues adding up and maybe slightly overrated by the media also. It could literally be that crap, he might need knee surgery in five years or all that other crap we hear about this time of year.

I'd rather stay away from the injured guys at this point, we just need good players to fill lots of holes. Bill and Tom will take care of the rest. We don't need to take risks right now.

Sometimes I feel like the University of Florida is the Jacksonville farm team.

I doubt that Lock gets past the Bengals.

Pats might have trouble moving up without a 5... seems to be about the cost so that 6 is too little and the 4 is too much...

I doubt that Lock gets past the Bengals. What about Denver?

Risner was another Tackle I would have liked... second round Oline options are dwindling but safety and Tight end... maybe another receiver? Would they dare go back to back on WR?

And there is Belichick's annual reach pick on a secondary guy. Hate this pick.

I mean did they have to trade up to get this guy? I'm glad they got a corner. I doubt Irv Smith will be available by their other 2nd round pick.

Yes, this guy was projected to go to them in the first in some mocks... he’s the 5th ranked corner in the draft per ESPN. Think about all the big receivers and big tight ends who are really receivers... a guy like Williams is a huge chess piece for the Patriots to use on defense.

It's not a reach, but what is Jackson a small corner? It's not like we didn't have size and depth. He better be really good!

They now have 7 corners tho wonder if they are going to carry them all or if we get a surprise cut or trade.

Bill likes his chess pieces - that’s what I look at this guy as... they have to love him to trade a 3rd to move up to get him.... I would be more comfortable if they took Jace but they may not like him.

Yeah thats the issue what are they going to do with all these corners? They did the same thing with Duke Dawson last year trading up for him and he barely even played. Now we have a million corners. I mean, our secondary should be awesome but our tight ends are complete garbage.

Just you trade up at that cost at a position that is maybe the best and deepest on team. To that you now add two second round picks. Would have liked it a lot more without the trade up.

I hear ya, and I would have preferred other picks but I understand the logic. I don’t love giving up pick 101. I don’t look at him as a traditional corner. He will allow them to match up differently than “just another corner”. He’s almost like a coverage safety in a way. Like he can cover a Kelce instead of Chung but then he can also go match up against a guy like AJ Green. Still won’t surprise me to see them deal Jonathan Jones.
