I kind of like Stidham. He's incredible in a clean pocket but struggles with pressure. I think that can be learned with experience. He played behind an awful o-line last year which is why he's probably lower than he might have been.

They are probably only making 2 4th round picks. They have 16, 31 and 32 of the 36 picks... they will probably trade the 32nd to move down into the 5th and maybe pick up a 6th... then maybe trade up in those rounds using some of their 4 7th round picks. That being said, I would go best player available too. Those safeties are tempting but man is their defensive backfield full right now. Would they move on from Harmon? I would love another receiver. I love the offensive line but I think you have to draft that later. With Wynn coming back and Cajuste in the fold, is there room for a 3rd first year player? It's going to be like last year, half the rookies will get some injuries right before cut day and end up on the IR. I also think this draft if bad news for a lot of free agents that signed this year and some core special team players. So no I don't think Harmon is gone he's more SS, Johnson and Thompson are FS, Hooker though while not flashy can play both and screams Patriot. Yet Gardner was seen as a great special teams player, but might not be on the board issues with draft meetings. I think Johnson fits, could replace Karras. Yet I expect a ton of these guys to fly off the board quickly. I agree with all this except that Harmon is more a SS. His speed is his strong suite and he’s listed behind McCourty on the Patriots depth chart but Chung. I am just trying to think of a viable veteran cut. Chung just extended and it’s blow me away it D McCourty was cut especially since they have no coaches 😂🤣

If they felt Lock was that good they probably would have taken him. Also, why will they automatically suck for a decade if they don’t have the guy when Brady retires? You could argue they are better off having a talented roster - no QB losing 12-13 games and drafting the next guy early in the first of that next draft.... one bad year won’t kill anyone... just saying. Let’s focus on number 7 I would certainly take that trade off, but nothing can be guaranteed at that spot either. Look at the Jets, Bills, Browns for years picking out of those spots.

Yeah I know... and according to other fanbases I probably sound like a spoiled brat. We won our Sixth Super Bowl, Brady is the undisputed GOAT, we're with the Steelers for most championships (and getting ready to pass them at this rate).
After we won that last Super Bowl, I had a real feeling it was the last one with Gronk retiring. Given what is going on with the Chiefs and Steelers (and Brady seems like he is going to try and hang on as long as he can), I think we can win another one.

I agree on Harmon, but they use him more at SS it seems, but did replace him with an extra corner during playoffs last year until Chung went down and Harmon replaced him.

He was last year but I remember Gilmore saying they were coaching themselves in OTAs. Was joking anyways but hopefully they will get coaches soon

There goes a punter in the 4th!

I'm a true believer in you take a QB when you can, not when you feel like it. So I truly hope they just didn't like Luck or these other guys. Like Brady is old, you can't count on 2-3 more years. I hope so, but who knows.

There goes a punter in the 4th! What a horrible pick given all the talent on the board. 4th for a great kicker ok, punter is a joke though.

6 picks left - any predictions? I would love a receiver but I’m guessing it’s going to be D’Andre Walker... we love Georgia

You want a Georgia guy I take Ridley, unless we are going 3-4 again because I see Walker as a OLB.
Thompson, Hooker, Wilson, Coney, Jackson, Bryant, Umenihu, Jordan, Harmon, Hall or Smith.

I think that the Pats were ready to pick Isabella, when AZ jumped in and grabbed him 2 picks before. That’s why they immediately traded out of their next pick. He would have been great. Well I'm glad he is in good hands with The King in Arizona at least.

This is one of those picks where I'm glad Scar is still with us, hard to complain about shoring up the O-line with one of these 4th rounders.

Froholdt was the 3rd rated pass blocking guard per PFF for what it’s worth.

Froholdt was the 3rd rated pass blocking guard per PFF for what it’s worth. Might be a slight reach, but good solid pick. Played some center last year also. Highly athletic, strong and rather new to football. They are killing this draft.

Pats started a run on guards. I might have liked Wesco at that pick but won't complain about it.
