Does anyone know if Ty Law claims Peyton Manning as a dependent on his tax returns?
He had 59 career picks including playoffs... 9 off Manning that’s over 15% off of one guy that wasn’t even in your division.

Brady signing a 2 yr extension. Still allows Brady to go year to year and ha e the deal adjusted accordingly.
EDIT: seeing reports that they are creating 5.5 in space for 2019.

Pat's struggling with wideouts. No Gronk. Who is on the line in front of Brady. Looks like bigger holes than the pats have had over the last several years. Is this the year when the roof falls in? BUT, they have been saying that for the last 5 years. And look at the results. Not too bad. But, is this the year the sky falls?

I can’t believe they had to give Brady 2/70... that’s way too much, but they will figure it out, just say bye to a couple key veterans.

My understanding is that 2020 and 2021 are voidable.
So:
1. Brady actually gets a raise for this year. 2. Pats' gain 5m in space for this year. 3. 2020 and 2021 are just place holders. If he decides to play, they'll rework the contract. If he doesn't, the Pats' will void the years.

The only issue with that is they can’t rework it until August so it doesn’t help that much with regards to free agency. Unless it’s different for a voidable contract. And what is a voidable contract?

Good point RJP. Cant help but think the distinction is in the word Voidable bc it was thrown about a bunch today. But, I am just assuming.
Miguel indicated he is writing up a piece on the deal so maybe there will be some info in there.

So Brady’s contract automatically voids at the end of the year and they can’t tag him so technically he will be an Unrestricted free agent. The void years were salary cap years and if he retires or goes to another team then they have a 13m dead cap charge for him next year. Good news is he’s not playing for another team and most importantly they can redo his contract before free agency.
I don’t understand why make the years 30 and 32m but it doesn’t much matter what they were.

Good news on Sony in the passing game so far. That’s a key development this season. If he can catch balls out of the backfield at a good clip then things get really interesting.

I don't know how a deal that automatically voids the final 2 seasons is a 3 year deal and not a 1 year deal.

Brady put his Brookline home on the market.... it’s starting to seem like this could be his final year. At this point I’m at 30/70 he retires.

I agree, especially if he wins another SB. His wife loves NY, so that might be his next destination. I wonder, and he probably wonders too, what will he do after football? Acting? Politics? TV analyst? I don't see any of these.
I could see him bidding with a group for another team. Maybe an expansion team, if it's available.

The TB12 thing could be his focus as he plans on opening locations both nationally and in London, from what I have heard.

House went on and off again It’s on the market Kinda shocked it was up at all on Zillow in the first place (prior to being taken down). Would think homes like that would have their own network of real estate searches and/or marketing methods.
