Time Lord with 16 rebounds in 20 minutes ... Insane.

Grayson Allen... three blatant cheap shots against Williams last night. How is that someone doesn’t knock him out? Anyone other than Williams would have probably knocked him into the third row after the first cheap shot to the head.

The best part about this article is it’s 100% speculation without any hints from the Celtics that this is possible, but it’s true it could be. If there are any minor bumps and bruises they will hold them out but I fully expect them to play if 100%

Is this the best Celtics summer league team of all time? I mean, it HAS to be. They're so fun to follow, especially after last season's debacle.

Here's the whole thing. I can't imagine having to root for that piece of trash.

Big deal for Edwards. Over 4.5 guaranteed over 4 yr deal

Big deal for Edwards. Over 4.5 guaranteed over 4 yr deal First 3 years are guaranteed, 4th year is a team option. First round picks only have 2 guaranteed years. They are definitely high on him.

By the way, the best remaining free agent for the Celtics is probably Thabo Sefolosha. I don’t know if he’d take the minimum and if so, he probably wouldn’t take it here but he’d fit great. He’s injury prone but still a strong defender, can be a stretch 4 and shoots lights out. The Celtics could DNP him a lot to preserve him and not take minutes from younger players but he’d be a weapon in big games and come playoffs.

Quick search has me thinking Trey Lyles and Kenneth Faried are the best guys for us. Want bring to training camp to earn a spot guys Marquess Chriss, Dragan Bender, Check Diallo, Henry Ellenson, and Jarell Martin.
Lyles isn't perfect and had a bad year. Yet he was very good the year before and litterally could be a better Morris type scoring PF. A lot of talent to mold with him. You'll have to offer him a role though or a very good chance at one. He won't sign to be a 15th man.
I've always loved Faried. He rebounds like crazy, likes an up tempo offense and can play small ball center. He doesn't add shooting and frankly I'm surprised his defensive number haven't been better. He just adds a ton of depth and is a very solid player. Again though he's going to require a role.
Right now we have what two legit PFs? Maybe you could count Theis, but I've always looked at his more as a small ball center and match up type guy. So it might not be bad to add a legit NBA player. Injuries happen and right now let's say Grant Williams get injured we are so thin it's crazy.

Given that our 4 options are basically small ball with Tatum or Semi, or Theis or a rookie in Williams, it would seem there's good opportunity for him to earn some good PT here.

A truly gutless performance today in the summer league. Heads should roll.

Man, seeing Alexander-Walker just absolutely run train in summer league reinforces the disappointment with taking Langford over him. Still happy with our picks and draft overall but man he's going to be really, really good.

Also, let’s see Langford before we start thinking what type of player he won’t be.

I have been on the hype train for quite a long time and yeah I'm still mad Danny passed on him.

I really liked NAW, but let's at least wait till we see a healthy Langford play. It wasn't some crazy wild pick, the guy has major talent.

I think that Grant Williams will be considered a top 10 pick from this draft in future comparisons, probably higher. It seems like his floor is going to be pretty high. Edwards also seems like he will contribute way above his draft slot.
Langford could be the wildcard, highest ceiling, lowest floor.

Totally agreed, my position aligns with Don's pretty well in that I am not down on Langford per se. I'm just really high on NAW so its more about him than about disliking the Langford pick. I think Langford could be really good, especially with the shot work he's putting in.
