I understand those texts about as much as I understand spanish, which I don't speak. Alright good, I'm not the only one...I was afraid to admit I have no idea what the hell he's talking about. Sounds more like giberish than any language I know. Can somebody please (as cleanly as possible) translate what those texts are saying in English?

Maybe he was drunk or stoned when he sent those emails? Like that's the only vaguely excusable thing I can say.

Miami police said they haven't heard anything from the accuser of Brown, it smells like a cash grab. I kind of feel bad for the illiterate now.

It looks like he's in uniform against Miami. Since the NFL doesn't have to deal with a criminal case I doubt they will side with the woman. It's been strange though, so who knows? At some point she will have to answer why she didn't call the cops. So yeah she wants compensation but I don't think I'd call it a "money grab."

It's hard to imagine anything will ever come of this without a single police report.

I wonder why this is a civil case not a felony. No police report. Just he said, she said. The only result is a transfer of money. The case will drag on until at least next Spring when he goes back on the open market and accepts all bids. Just not from us.
Can we just play some football?

Watched the 4th quarter of the game last night. After watching the Pats so many years, I got to know what kinds of things they do in certain situations. 3rd and 3 I figure some kind of swing pass or a quick out to get the 3 yards. But, what did they do last night? 50 yard bombs. That were incomplete. 4th down and kick. WTF? That reflects bad coaching. Then on the last play of the game they had Newton line up behind the right end. Hey, defense. Do you know what's coming? Of course you do. Again bad coaching. The play calling was the same all quarter. Stupid calls with little chance of success.
No wonder BB beats everybody.

Very happy to see Brown isn't suspended, that would have made this whole deal a big failure before it even started.
Jones contract might be a steal but that's a lot of money for your nickle cb. Shows just how solid and deep this D is.

He is on the field more often than not and with the O putting up big numbers he will be on the field a lot. Pats have almost 50 million, 25% of their payroll, spent on the secondary and thats with Jones at 3m.

Shows just how solid and deep this D is. It’s a market inefficiency that Bill takes advantage of. It’s not even the top of the market but Bill pays positions he feels are important that aren’t big money positions near the top of their market. Jonathan Jones just played 81% of the defensive snaps last weekend and added 35% on special teams. The nickel corner market is suppressed right now due to the somewhat recent change of nickel/dime being the defense of choice across the league. The Patriots ran one snap out of their true base 3-4 defense last weekend.

Looking forward to seeing Sony get more passing reps. Burkhead will get more snaps and maybe we get to see the rookie.

Most of the game they had three down linemen and they really rotated them a ton from what I saw. Did you have any stats on formations? I can't find them.

Didnt see snap counts but Bedard listed the defensive lineups used for different formations.
He actually said they didnt even use the "true" 3-4 base at all.

I cancelled my PFF subscription so I’m not sure. I’m not really sure it would much matter tho. He is a player on the upswing. He was great towards the end of the year and was the top ranked corner for week one out of all corners not just slot (if you care about the PFF rankings). Yes, it was one week but he’s an ascending player.

According to Bedard, Jones was a part of 5 PBUs.

Also, Bolden is out so we might get to see some Harris. Maybe quite a bit when they're up by 45 points in the 3rd quarter.

Is Bailey really that bad as a holder or is it time for the Pats to find a new kicker?
