Athletes are human not robots, games are actually played not predetermined based on what should happen. Roger Clemens doesn't strike out 20 guys every time he pitches and Michael Jordan doesn't hit every shot he throws up there. Isn't that the beauty of sports? I mean if it was that easy we wouldn't have sports at all as their wouldn't be any point to playing. To bitch and moan when all your teams are in first place and have been for the most part over the past 20 years is ridiculous and unrealistic. Not that you can't bitch and moan once and a while but for some it is all they do win or lose it is a nonstop barrage of negative posts. I can't even remember a positive comment from some of you. Why are you a fan if all it does is cause consternation? You do realize it is a choice right? You can choose to be a fan, you can choose to see things as half full or half empty but I am a fan that tires of the half empty attitude when their really isn't much reason for it. This is Boston where we have been the most spoiled fans on Earth for going on 20 years. Maybe it is all some of you know, winning. I won't bore you with all the years of losing many of us endured but at least we appreciate the winning. If the laws of average kick in we won't see another championship in Boston for the next 30 years. Then you guys will really have something to complain about, think about that for just a second the next time a guy misses a big shot and things aren't looking perfect. Sorry, not sorry for my occasional rants but I am the Voiceofreason and I can't help it just like some of you can't help your negativity. Aren’t you the one bitching and moaning about draft picks and bad luck because we aren’t getting a top 3 pick with every chance.

Citing 40 years of bad draft luck is a little different than ripping the team as frauds when they have outperformed expectations so far.

It’s being emotional while watching the games. I could just as easily say why watch games if you aren’t going to get on an emotional roller coaster with it. Some people deal with the moments thru venting. If you pay attention to the totality it a poster in this case WCP he is positive on the team and very rational. The emotion is reaction to in game stuff. That has to be a separated. It’s pretty boring to watch a loss and not care while in the moment for a lot of people.

Just my two cents, I'm not a fan of calling out the refs and team every game but understand it. Yet making judgements like they are pretenders crosses the line. Nothing big, most likely heat of the moment crap. We'll make a comment on it and move on.
Yet Dirtywater acts like we have to trade for certain guys to have a chance and is frankly why it boiled over and went crazy. I love trade proposals and talk like that. Yet no need to basically trash our guys because Tatum has some had shooting games. There's zero evidence to show he isn't on a path to being one of the better two way players in the game.
I feel voiceofresons frustrations. I did call both the Kings and Grizz to be good. Yet I'm wrong half the time and it sucks I had to get those right. Yes overall our luck hasn't been bad, but those two picks could have changed everything. Maybe we got lucky on Langford, time will tell. Yet you have to be disappointed. The Grizz were fing 9th in the West last time I checked and it's early. I never thought we might not even get a lottery pick, but that chance now exists even if it's low. To add insult to injury, Clarke is way outplaying Williams and we could have taken him.

Being down 10 points less than 5 minutes in needs to stop.

Missing wide open shots, getting outhustled for every ball, letting LMA do whatever he wants, fans are booing, this is a nightmare.

Being critical and trashing is completely different things. 3) It wasn't my trade proposal, so obviously other people want him too and think the Celtics would be better off for it. 4) You'd take Tatum and I'd take KAT, who imo is the better player right now and isn't that much older than Tatum. Our guys have nothing to do with wanting imo the better player. 5) VOR specifically called out WCP3. It wasn't because the talked before boiled over from conversations before. I had a huge problem with it. No one should tell anyone how to be a fan here. 6) I agree the Celtics have had some bad luck.

Absolutely rubbish first half. It is what it is, the Celtics are built around Tatum and Brown and they're still pretty young so they will hit some walls. There's not enough margin of error to overcome that.
That being said, the complete lack of defense and Walker and Hayward combining to shoot 3-10 from the field is pretty disheartening. Back to back looming with another game tomorrow, against the 6ers no less. This is the danger zone.

My live reactions don’t represent how I actually feel about the team, and if we’re being honest I’m never actually as mad watching games as my posts make me seem. But my reaction last game wasn’t based on one game alone. This team has been starting games horribly for a few weeks now, either from a lack of focus, a lack of effort, or both. They’re not good enough to just turn it on and off like that, and it’s ridiculous that it keeps happening.

Hard to come back with stupid non-fouls being called fouls on the C's.
Are you f'ing kidding me tossing Kemba?!?!?!?!?!!!!! The ref blew the f'ing call, then called 2 T's in 1.5 seconds! And he was calmly complaining.

How does a team play defense when they get so many bullshit calls against them that aren't fouls?

I would like to see a public statement from Ainge after the game calling the league out for this debacle. It’s about time the refs are held accountable.

This is the most annoying game ever between the Spurs not missing any shots and the Celtics fouls that are not fouls when they tried to play defense. The entire game fell apart immediately when Kemba was kicked out for getting pummeled.
It's so weird seeing Tim Duncan with hair.
Spurs are way better than their record.

Okay, so now that this sad game is in the books. Tomorrow is the second night of a back to back, then a day off, then a game, then another day off and THEN ANOTHER BACK TO BACK. Soft part of the schedule so it's probably not going to be too bad, but the Celtics are right in the middle of a grueling stretch.
Going .500 until the all star break and not picking up any injuries is IMO a clear goal.

A 27 year old NBA ref gave Kemba his first ejection ever. So ya the NBA kind of sabotaged this game.

"Don't talk back to me or you're gone." The ultimate Joe cowboy West ump move in basketball with this ref. This is a funny and a true point by Chris here. Tommy would have lost it on this ref lmao.

Looking at the play again, there's a decent chance he said "f*ck you gook, that's a f*cking foul", which obviously would warrant the ejection.

I was at UConn the same time and crossed paths with Kemba many times, and he’s legit one of the nicest dudes you’ll meet.
