Also; was Pedro really banned? Yes, and about 7 other names he's tried to sign up under since.

Injuries or not, there are some alarming trends going on with this team lately. They stop trying on defense for extended periods of time, and they’re extremely careless with the ball, which hurts them late in games. This would be yet another pathetic loss.

3 blown 17+ point leads at home in the past 8 days. Embarrassing trend. They're exhausted, Kemba has been bad, and Brad has been bad.
Stephens lack of feel for and ability to call appropriate time outs continues to cost us games.

This might sound like sour grapes and I know the C's blew leads but that is 2 losses in the last week that the refs had a part in with really bad calls at the end. Kimba was fouled by Schroeder on that steal. Tatum did not foul Adams and Smart was fouled when he blew the layup. That is 3 bad calls in the last minute of the game, all against the C's. BS!!

Might be better finishing 4th rather than 3rd

A win’s a win, but it’s hard to feel too encouraged right now. The team’s lack of focus could be their undoing in the playoffs, and it’s past time to acknowledge that every competent coach outmaneuvers Stevens with their in-game decisions.

Missed this game, but seriously wcp, Nate McMillan is outmaneuvering Stevens? McMillan sucks balls at in game adjustment, wasn't it anything else?

Brad Stevens is good at coaching basketball.
Kemba is hurt.
Tatum needs To be the player they inbound the ball to. He’s just a lot stronger on the ball right now than Kemba is.

Don, you're seriously underestimating Nate McMillan's coaching ability. They've missed their best player most of the year with an inferior roster to Boston's and they are what... 4 games behind the Celtics? I don't think the rest of the NBA shares your low opinion of Nate McMillan.

He won't surprise you, that's what I mean.

Why are we bashing our coach when we aren't close to full strength? Why aren't we bashing Danny for not getting us the bench upgrade we all knew we needed?
Walker clearly isn't close to 100%. He hasn't had a game shooting over 40% from the field since January 26th and has missed two chunks of games since then trying to get healthy. He should be resting, yet with injury after injury and zero depth we can't do that.
What has happened to Kanter? For much of the season he was our scoring guy off the bench. Even in limited minutes he was giving you big amounts of points and rebounds. Lately the points are just gone.

NBA just suspended the season. Incredible. Is there even a plan in place? Like if this isn't gone in the next couple of months, will we wait until the next year to finish this season or will they play in the summer?

I think they wait to make sure players are healthy then IF they are they finish season without fans. They just played the Celtics. There’s a good chance it’s been passed around.

NCAA tournament canceled.
I don't think the NBA currently has a plan, just wait and see what happens. They weren't planning this, yet when Gobert got sick it forced there hand. You have the Jazz and four other teams that need to qurantine now.
I'd love to buy the China model that this will die down in six weeks like they claim. Yet what we've seen in other Countries and how this is exploding in the US I don't buy it.

Somehow I find myself unable to trust China as well. Not sure why, they're very open with information. China would never lie! It's less about China lying and more about them implementing extreme measures that just aren't going to fly in the US - constant required testing and forced quarantining.

Should we talk NBA draft? This is a good opportunity to steal players who couldn’t get more looks from more exposure. The athletic did a mock draft. Here’s the Celtics first pick:
17. Boston Celtics (via MEM) Aaron Nesmith | 6-6 wing | 19 years old, sophomore | Vanderbilt
The Celtics love to draft wing players in the first round, because that’s often where value can be found. Nesmith makes an awful lot of sense for them, too. He’s a terrific shooter at the very least. He shot 52.2 percent on 115 3-point shots in 14 games before being knocked out for the season with a foot injury. That’s a hot start, but Nesmith is a very real shooter who teams believe will be a 40 percent marksman from distance.
And at 6-foot-5 with at least a plus-five wingspan and a strong, physical frame, Nesmith looks ready and skilled enough to play in the NBA sooner rather than later. The upside is that of a starting NBA wing if things broke right and at least an NBA rotation wing as long as the shooting translates at a reasonable level. NBA executives will want to get medical records on his foot prior to picking him, but Nesmith is a guy that should easily hear his name called somewhere in the first round. He fits everything the league is about right now.
I could get behind that. You can always use a marksman. Isaiah Stewart is a Center that could be intriguing to get as well and I’ll always be ok with Tre Jones as a backup point guards. Also, my Duke bias would be happy with Cassius Stanley at the end of the first round. He should be a really good defender at the least and has offensive upside. He’s the type of elite athlete you take a chance on.
