And honestly man, I get the misunderstanding. What I don’t get is the argument after the fact. When I or someone else clarifies, after it’s clear to us, you misunderstood what we said (whether it’s our fault or yours or a conversation), accept the clarification and move on with the conversation. These are blog posts there’s bound to be some confusion. But don’t spend post after post telling me what I meant. It’s just foolish and makes zero sense. A simple, “oh, i see what you were saying, I didn’t read it that way at first” is all that’s really required and we all move on with the discussion. RJP there's a difference in misunderstanding what was actually said and someone writing something that doesn't actually mean what they wanted to get across or what they were thinking in their mind.

Saw it trending on Twitter and then Tom Westerholm retweeted an article he had written where people suggested Tatum was bigger than others listed at 6'8" (which, of course, could just mean the others are listed incorrectly) but also had a quote from Stevens saying he was 6'10".
That being said, later yesterday, an exchange involving Tatum was re-tweeted by one of the beat guys where JT threw in a joke about how he's also been 19 for the past 4 years.

I have been on the bandwagon since early on and have watched much video, which is impressive. He can hit from deep, has great handle and can facilitate as a true PG with talent around him. BUT he plays below the rim and will have a hard time finishing around the hoop in the NBA, he has what appears to be zero hops. So I love what I think he can become for the C's which is a boost off the bench and 2nd team general, I think he will be limited by his athleticism at the next level. Great late 1st rd pick though and he will contribute early.

A lot of players play below the rim - I think that’s very over-rated for a PG... need to see if he can use his body to shield defenders that’s the key. Could in college

Pritchard likely isn't very good going to the rim in the NBA. What he needs to be able to do is get into the paint to make the D collapse. He seems to have an advanced handle and high Basketball IQ. He's not Rozier, not even close. Yet Rozier's strength wasn't finishing, it was his ability to always get into the paint, draw in the D and pass it back out. If Pritchard can do that he'll be fine if his shooting stays good.

Within his role, it’s quite possible he’s going to be just fine getting to the hoop. He averaged 4.5 FT attempts per game which is pretty good. In video he seems to be good at using his body to create separation. It’s all going to hinge on his shooting. If he’s over 40% from 3, it’s going to be a lot easier for him to drive to the hoop especially when he’s not the focus of the defense.
I’m very ready for a preseason game tomorrow.

With Thompson our and Theis questionable with a back injury, which basically means he shouldn’t so won’t play, we will get a heavy dose of the Williams and probably some Tacko tomorrow

Bulls waived Vonleh, so now it would be a perfect time to make umass happy and finally give Noah a look-see.

I'd drop Taco for Vonleh, yet don't think that's allowed. Otherwise you'd have two many guys that are basically centers in today's NBA.
Thinking back on the Smart draft, Vonleh was the swing for the fences guy, yet was crazy raw. It's a reminder of how FT attempts don't translate from College. I settled on Smart before the draft over Randle mainly because of his D and crazy high FT attempts per game which were over eight per game. He's never come close to that in the NBA.

Non-C's but impacts them. GA bombing Woj-Bomb by announcing that he's staying in Milwaukee for 5 yrs.

Vonleh isn’t eligible for a 2 way contract. The Celtics are spending a lot of time with Tacko so it’ll be interesting if there are any dividends

I know you've been a big fan, yet he's slower than Roy Hibbert who was basically forced out years ago because the game changed. You waste a first round pick unloading Kanter because he can't move well and gets killed on D. Yet you keep Falls? Did I miss a rule change? Are they eliminating the three second rule? You can say it's just a two way contract, yet that's four centers out of 15 players. Unless you think he has good upside, you should focus on an area of need like PF or get a player who actually has NBA upside.

They must see a potential role for him or they wouldn’t spend so much time.

Pritchard's shot looked as advertised tonight.
Nesmith had a nice block from behind.
Watching the last 10 minutes made me realize how redundant so many of these guys are right now. Are Waters or Edwards relevant anymore?
