How big does the saddle have to be for Vazquez to put an entire 30 man roster on his back? Dude is carrying the team.

Yadier Molina said he would eventually hit, and he wasn't kidding.

I don't know about you guys but I think they picked the wrong catcher between Vaz and Swihart

I think Pedey and Nomar were clearly better players that just had injuries that cut their careers short. No offense to Betts, yet no player I enjoyed watching more than Nomar. If I were picking two guys from the past 30 years who had great RS careers cut short, they’d be Burks and Vaughn. Burks still had a better career than Nomar, and Vaughn’s Sox years were Papi-esque. They don’t get the sane love as Pedey or Nomar. Not into advanced stats are you? I don't think either guy was even close to Nomar. Go look up his run of 6-7 bwar for a six year stretch.

McNamara passed. Never really know who to believe with him or Clemens. No matter, that was the most painful moment of my Red Sox fandom. I was sure they were Champs, as was everyone else.

Chavis can't make contact and Benny can't hit the ball hard Benny makes me the most upset at this point. I feel awful for him. I am just not sure he can work his way out of it. Chavis doesn't have the pedigree. Not saying he cant be good. But AB should be better than this.

Nice work by Perez tonight, outside of the control problems in the third. Mets only put one ball in play with a hit probability > 50%. Like last start, got stronger as the game got deeper.

Now that we actually have a small lead in a game, it will interesting to see how Roenicke deploys the pen.
