18 games to go and tied for the worst record in baseball. We can do this! I'm beginning to believe I believe in this group to deliver a top two pick.

And the Yankees are in 3rd place They also have to reset the tax while losing the majority of their SP next season. With limited pitching talent in their minors red sox are looking like they might win the ship before the yanks where we both sit.

I believe in this group to deliver a top two pick. Our offence is going too make it difficult for us. With Verdugo, Bogaerts and now Devers heating up and JD Mart

Their best players are all proving to be very injury prone (or not as good as they thought, i.e. Sanchez and Andujar), and they are locked into some long term deals that either already look bad or could get there in a hurry. Shockingly, that next man up BS that worked last year for them isn't working anymore.

Yeah, hard to ask them to score more than the 8 they did today. And that won’t cut it, it seems.

They are in for a tough road the one arm that was lights out in Valdez has hit a rough spot. I see alot of blown leads in their future. Although brasier seems to have found a groove.

18 games to go and tied for the worst record in baseball. We can do this! In a three-way tie, and with 2019 as a tie-breaker, it's the 3rd pick. And the Royals are just a loss behind, and have lost 6 straight, and they have the tie-breaker on us as well.
The D'dbacks currently own the 5th pick and we have the tie-breaker on them.
Both BP and FG project us for the 4th pick, but one more loss gives us 2 and 3 respectively. One more win leaves us at 4 in both cases, and two more wins at 4 and 5.

So saddle up fellas we have some teams to root for that are not the red sox. The pirates are my new fav, I believe in them to deliver a .500 record the rest of the way.

The pressure is on to lose? How funny is that. Instead of getting depressed, giggle when our pitchers get hammered. If you look at it the right way, it can be a lot of fun.

I want to see all the guy who look like they may be able to help us in the future perform well. It makes no sense to root for Ryan Weber or Austin Brice to fail. Which is why I get really mellow and relaxed when they bring in Matt Hall or Kyle Hart. No more conflicting feelings!

Elsewhere I took it you saw him as someone who had an extremely small margin of error. What do you see as his most likely projection? I’m ok with him as a mop up man, occasional swing starter, but I imagine he’s pretty replaceable. Is that lower than how you see him? I do like Brice. I think he has potential to add real value to the bullpen for a few years.

I think we should take a moment of silence. Chavis just had a two hit, two walk and zero strikeout game. Which is a mini miracle for him. Now he just needs to regain his power, though he's been hitting the ball hard 98.3 EV last game. Kinda the big worry though that him adjusting to not strikeout and make contact kills his power.

I think he has potential to add real value to the bullpen for a few years. I'm not optimistic about Weber having his plus command on a sufficient percentage of outings to make his an asset. So he's an up-and-down depth guy at this point. But he could end up as Jamie Moyer, for all we know. I think we can clear him though waivers and keep him in the system, and wait on him.
Unless he has great command the whole rest of the way this year, of course. For some strange reason, I like the scenario where that happens next year better.
