Even the NBC announcers seemed to be saying we got a bit pass happy there. Krejci tried to force that pass you mentioned, AND, McAvoy doesn't shoot that puck from 5 feet wide open, tries to pass instead. Oof!

What is this thing with Pasta falling in love with the spinorama backhand passes lately? Anyone else notice that? It's usually way off the mark too, but it's like some new thing he's in love with lately or something. He’s been whipping it around blindly, it’s befuddling First line is at least playing much better tonight. They need to get more shots on Anderson, they’re passing up too many chances That McAvoy pass to nobody drove me insane lol |

They mentioned on NESN that they're not sure he knew where he was when he did that. |

Dude got over quick, puck went off his side and into his glove. Would live perfect shot there, but he was about 3 inches from the winner. It feels like we've gotten none of the luck so far. |

Great to get that win, feels a heck of a lot better coming home 1-1, that's for sure.
Things I noticed.
As frustrating as the second goal was when Rask wasn't even down in position, he had a couple really nice stops sliding to his right, especially on a quickie little breakaway in the first period. Gotta give him credit, his push to his right is still really strong and he's powerful with the leg pads there.
Today Miller looked really lost on D. I'm not sure what was going on in his head, but he cost us at least the one goal pinching and seemingly having no plan.
The first line obviously regained some mojo, and Krecji's passing looked great tonight.
The Pasta spinorama passing fascination can't end soon enough for me.
Bergeron deflection was insane.
McAvoy, please shoot it more when you're close in! Krecji too!
Gotta love the effort and play from Hall again. Don't even know if you'd be here, or won it if not for that trade.
Onward to the Garden!

Now let’s clean up the neutral zone and stop making maniacal pinches. I think clifton pinched like 20-30 seconds before the Marchand goal and it led to a 50/50 battle they won but my goodness that was dangerous for OT lol
That miller one was brutal

Miller and Reilly both were pretty sloppy on D, I thought. Reilly had some nice plays pushing the offense but on D he was turning it over deep way too much.

Marchand needs to stop with the stupid crap. That's a garbage call, letting the swing from the Cap go, but putting Marchand in the box for that minor nonsense.
But still, don't do stuff to give the refs the opportunity to screw you like that in the first place.
