Kyle Duggar is tied for the third-most TDs on the team. The mark of a great offense.

I am increasingly of the view that Mac Jones is just a bad QB. Glad we kept Hoyer instead of Stidham...

There were a couple plays where Mac held onto it and took the sack…and it was the smart thing to do. Earlier in the season he would’ve done something stupid. I’m glad he’s cut the turnovers out lately. Thought he was fine today. He’s certainly nothing special. I still hold out hope he can be good.

They won so if there was a draft they would pick 22
It would be nice if they resign Duggar, Meyers, Barmore. Resign or give extensions

Barmore with 4 QB hits. Nice to have him back. That pass rush is a force with him, Judon, and Uche

Duggar has more TDs than the whole Miami defense. Defense deserves props for having 7 TDs. Defense deserves props on the year and in this game playing without Mills and both Jones. You just played with the other Jones, Bryant and practice squad players at CB. Peppers was huge, should have also had a FF. Surprised we haven't seen more of that. He makes D faster and made some huge hits.
If you want playoffs better hope Mills and Marcus Jones are healthy next week. Bills always seem to destroy Bryant when he's 3rd or 4th CB, nevermind #2.
Mac Jones looks like a 2nd year QB going through the learning process. He missed a bunch of open throws, he made other open throws like to Thornton rather hard. Still struggling reading the other teams D, yet did have a good moment sensing blitz and throwing a bomb to Thornton. That's what he needs more of, sensing what the D is doing and adjusting. It's what made Tom Brady the GOAT and Mac Jones has to be darn good at it to reach his potential.

I am increasingly of the view that Mac Jones is just a bad QB. Glad we kept Hoyer instead of Stidham... 399 yards passing and rushing combined versus the #1 Defense in the NFL. I felt bad for the guy before the game, first career start against the NFL best defense. His career maybe on the line, yet you finally got to see him use his physical tools. Rather amazing how many former and current Patriot QBs have started games this year in the NFL that Bill drafted. Then look at a team like the Jets. LIke I said before the season, make Hoyer a coach or move on. Make him the OC or QB coach if you value him so much.

Most important changes next year will be on the coaching staff. Fix that and we'll have a better team. Unfortunately, you have nepotism all over, so nothing will happen there. MP should go back to Defensive C. and get a better OC and OL coach. It's all fixable.

I’m glad he’s cut the turnovers out lately. Thought he was fine today. He’s certainly nothing special. I still hold out hope he can be good. With how last season played out and this season as well I'm not sure why anyone would look at Mac as the problem. Whether he's the solution or not the jury is likely still out. Before November some basic stats -3 TD and 7 INT with rating of 87.2, 79.7, 62.1, 16.7 and 79.9 since November 8 TD and 1 INT with ratings of 89.2, 104.6 119.8, 84.8, 75.3, 52.1, 105.6, 98.4. I think Jones has figured out how to make the best of a bad offense and situation. The whole offensive corrdinator issue has clearly been a disaster and all you have needed is to watch a few games. Half the offense is our defense.

Perhaps everybody- posters here, fans on social, the teams announcers, analysts, former players, former front office personnel from around the league, basically everybody on God’s green earth outside of yourself- says he sucks BECAUSE HE SUCKS AT HIS JOB. Its very obvious to people who don’t dig in on their positions and refuse to adjust them in the face of a mountain of evidence. I, for instance, was willing to at least give him a chance to see how he did before I ripped him. Turns out my dog would be better at this job. It’s a very easy problem to fix and that’s why people harp on it- go hire a coach who has actually done something with an offense since 2005! See that's not true we've had multiple announcers in recent weeks talking about talent level as the biggest issue as they are watching the games. One saying it's OL talent, the other saying it's a true offensive weapon. You just ignore it and go more off Boston media and sport fans. I would have thought after Ime people might have changed, it's like people still haven't. You know the difference between Ime and MP, it was talent level, Ime had elite talent that was proven. Guys with multiple conference finals appearances. He still made them look like crap for half a year. That's just a lie, what you don't think head coaches are involved with the offense? He spent years working hand and hand with an OC. Coming up with weekly game plans and halftime adjustments. So you'd never hire a coach to be headcoach if he didn't have head coaching experience? Every year people in sports do things they haven't done before. The fact you and so many people think fixing this offense is easy, just replace MP is laughable. First he basically goes against what you claimed last post, you aren't blaming MP for everything. Second it's just not true. Fixing this offense no matter who the OC is, requires an improved OL, weapons that fit Mac Jones and Mac Jones making a huge leap forward. It anything Bill probably should have brought in a better offensive mind to help MP than Joe Judge. That being said, his work with Zappe was darn good and the talent level is crap. Nevermind what talent you have can't be used on the regular given the OL. The idea that a rocket scientist with 20 plus years of coaching experience can't become a good OC is crazy. This is like the crap with Bill after the Browns. He sucks as a headcoach he can only be a DC. Yeah a ton of people said just that, so it must be true! I would never base any opinion based on National Broadcasters, as a whole they are talking heads unprepared and ill informed and every time I listen to a national game with a local team involved I inevitably hear them makes false claims multiple times a game that would have been solved with an ounce of preperation.

On Mac Jones, I think he's very much a Kirk Cousins or Derek Carr-esque "can thrive under the right circumstances" guy. He's good at reading a defense, manipulating defenders with his eyes, going through route progressions and has accuracy and touch on his throws when he can step into them. But I think he starts to fall apart when his offensive line struggles (he hasn't developed that Brady-esque pocket presence yet and can't do anything outside of the pocket), needs receivers who can consistently win 1:1 (he can reliably identify the 1:1 coverage but needs guys who can create separation or win jump balls) and needs some help with scheme (defined reads, better spacing, etc.).
As long as he's on his rookie contract, even with those flaws, he's super valuable. But, down the line, does he have the ceiling to be worth paying a market-rate contract? TBD for now but worth keeping an eye on.
Biggest problem on the team continues to be the offensive line. Trent Brown is a statue out there despite having a borderline false start on every play. Cole Strange continues to be unable to hold up against bull rushes. Conor McDermott is the definition of a JAG. The frequency of screen passes is a running joke at this point, but what else can you really do when you don't trust the line to hold up long enough for routes to get downfield?

Looking at the cap situation, it seems like next year will be another year like this one and last year. 2024 and beyond is when the cap opens back up and we get out from the bad contracts. I’d hope they plan accordingly and set them up to be in good shape in 2024 but I’m skeptical they’ll behave that way.

If the cap projections are right, seen 225, 260, 300 next 3 years. You have plenty of money even if McCourty retires. The problem will be like Baseball this year, things will get crazy because most teams will have money and a lot of if going forward.
Looking at the cap numbers you are releasing Brown. I'm determined to trade Jonnu or do a post June release on him. Heck I'd take 2.5 million in less cap space for him to not be on the team and just move on this year 100%. Yet in reality if you pay half his base salary you should be able to trade him, actually freeing up a few million in cap space.
The problem isn't cap space like last year, you can get over 50 million. It's losing both OTs, maybe McCourty, Meyers, Harris, J. Jones. Then a bunch of key expensive guys reaching free agency the next year, like Uche, Duggar, Henry and Onwenu.

I watch the press conference today very sad but good in the progress he made today. I never root for New York teams, but I will this year and hope they will win the super bowl. Patriots I don't think they have a pray to win this game with the encouragement Buffalo got from doctors today, like Adrian wakes up from her coma and tells Rocky to not only go fight but WIN! Beside everybody know it's the only true team in football from New York.

First for me, Bailey and Jack Jones who are on IR moved to suspension list. Bailey has been back at practice yet not activated and Bill said he won't be, season over. Allows you to void next year's guaranteed base salary.

How soon when the game ends does Kraft go Bb what’s the plan for next season. I swear if I was Kraft I’m finding out the plan and taking notice .
I hate it when the owner interferes but I want him to so bad. Bb is starting to worry me. He needs to restore confidence. I never ever want to go back to those stupid years when everyone laughed at our team. When u have to beat the Dolphins by making the snowplow clear the spot for the kicker.

Bailey files grievence over suspension. From what I've seen it's a disagreement over him being healthy and ready. Team thought he was ready and I guess he didn't. Very weird situation given how bad our current punter is and the kickoff issues are. Which is saying something given Bailey a top paid punter isn't very good. Just draft a punter!
Jones is a rookie not checking in for rehab check-ins or something like that.

What is the NFL doing to the Bengals? I know about Hamlin but I can't make sense of anything the NFL is doing here. They already beat KC this year and if they beat Buffalo would have had the same record as Buffalo with a game to go. Now they had a vote, which is bs too, and the Bengals are being treated as a wild card team with no home game despite winning their division and being robbed of a chance to be the 2 seed. On top of that, they will have a tougher schedule next year and be pushed down in the draft. It might as well be a conspiracy because it's so bush league as to be borderline absurd and WWF-type thread.

1. As most are aware, Pats with a longshot at wildcard if they lose. Can still get in.
2. Cincy offered to suspend the game 3. Cincy has strength of victory over Buffalo. Thus has the tiebreaker and can get the #2 seed. 4. Cincy is now 2 GB the Chiefs. #1 seed no longer matches the facts

I think the Jake Bayley situation is going to bite the Pats in the end. I think they think he has vastly underperformed and want to find any way they can to get out of his contract. So they suspended him to void his contract. They still haven’t said why. In the end they will probably have to pay him and it will count against their cap. I feel bad for the guy as all he did wrong was get hurt.
