Fact is, we are clearly a better team on the ice than they are. This series is tied because of us, not because of them. We dominated the third period yet their three goals were a sloppy clear of the zone, an embarrassing delay of game penalty, and letting them score on what felt like their first legit offensive entry of the 3rd period after 8 minutes of domination.
Clean that up, return to form, and we're likely playing next weekend. Unfortunately anything can happen in a game 7 though.

Some of the turnovers were unspeakably bad
Clifton-Forbort was traumatizing. Gryz back with McAvoy next game plz, Orlov-McAvoy is getting caved in
Every time Montour touches the puck I wince, haven’t felt that since prime Subban

Linus is not himself the last two games, injured? Swayman needs to start game 7. Also re-insert Gryz and Frederic back into the lineup. Sit Clifton and Kreji who is not close to being healthy. Lock your d-play down and clear out the front of their net. Two defensmen can never be below the goal line. Stay calm and move on to the second round.

So gang - what do we think will happen tonight? Pretty nervous about this game - but of course I will watch. Somehow Boston needs to play a completely strong home game - something that hasn't happened that much recently. Drama!

According to Fluto, “expected” lineup:
Frederic in for Foligno. Otherwise lines the same.
Gryz in, Clifton out. Same D pairings as games 3-5.
Swayman starting.

As it gets closer, I have a really bad feeling about it. But that is likely just nerves and a defeatist attitude.

Apparently Bertuzzi on the top line, DeBrusk on Coyle line.
This is more panic from Montgomery, imo. Constantly shuffling lines for no real reason. You scored 5 in the last game. If you thought the problem was the scoring lines, you are not paying attention.
What I don't like with those lines specifically is that you've basically put your three of your four (Coyle being the 4th) best defensive forwards (aside from 4th line guys) on one line. Much prefer more balance.

Swagman giving up early goals is the thing to worry about to start this one.

Waste of a power play - nice whiff by Lindholm, nice penalty by Marchand. Not the start they needed.

Game seven and Orlov is going to let a guy with the puck skate straight past him uncontested. Loser hockey.

The Bruins are playing so badly - can't seem to get anything organized on offense, players falling down here and there, lost sticks. Is this really the same team that won all those games? We are getting significantly outshot, outhit, outplayed.

Playing tight and not catching breaks.
Feelings of doom overwhelming me now.

8 shots, 9 hits, 3 penalties, 4 giveways vs 11 shots, 14 hits, 2 penalties, 3 giveaways. 0 vs 1 PP goal.
Can they flip the switch even a little in the second?

The key to the period was how bad our PP was. Get a Goal there and we might be loose and off to the races. Instead, not only no point,
Already preparing myself for the offseason.

Boston can't seem to pull the trigger on shots. Defense continually gives up the puck. They don't clear the puck - they are being really lazy with the clears. Bruins are toast unless a miracle occurs. This is just so damn sad - but it will be historic if they don't come back. In the worst way.

Montgomery turns out not to be the coach for these guys. He hasn't been able to reach them and keep them from going tight. A team with legendary talent like the Bruins this year have to be reachable by their coach. If they go tight, and the coach cannot get them to loosen up, he's one and done for me. He puts the wrongs lines together and plays the wrong goalie. Trash playoff series, horrible coaching. Loser hockey.

How can the Bruins continue to get the puck into the zone and NOT pull the trigger - just try something. They are looking like one of the worst teams in the league right now.

Can't say enough what colossal disappointments Orlov and Lindholm have been this series.
Krejci doing what he's done all. year- passing the puck to the other team and refusing to shoot the puck.
