Hate to say it, but that was on Swayman getting distracted by Tkachuk. He got out of position trying to push at him, then couldn't get to the post quick enough.
Damn, their defense really stepped up after that onrush from Florida after we took the lead. We had control, were getting the puck out, Swayman was playing confidently, etc. Really tough one to give up there.
But... when it was 2-0 I'm sure we'd take a chance for a winner-take-all OT. Let's go get it, we were the better team in the 3rd and let's keep that same pressure we had to start the 3rd.

Too many of them are too tight tonight. It's not going to get better in OT. The Bruins have to luck out, they're the team with greater fear. They're going to throw it unless they get lucky. I wish it weren't so, it was such a year, but this is 16-0 Patriots. Too tight, can't clear their minds and do what they need to do.

Don't have a good feeling about this. Everybody will be happy/relieved if they win, but I doubt anybody will feel THAT good about it. It shouldn't have come down to this.
If they lose....well I would guess this could be worse than blowing that 3-0 series lead about a decade ago.
There is some serious pressure on them. Florida must feel like they're playing with house money.

Can Marchand be sent down on the minor leagues to just simply practice passing? Is that a thing? I've never seen a professional player lose the ability to hit a guy on the stick with a pass. It's consistent with him. Trash, trash, trash.

You knew that was going to happen. Bruins couldn't cleanly clear well all game - they sure paid for their sloppy play, missed passes - they were just tight as a drum. Well deserved loss, sadly.
That was the shot at the cup. Team will be very, very different next year.

One of the worst chokes in the history of the franchise with as much talent as they had. Montgomery is not a good coach. Fairweather only. He's the Arod of coaches. Great when it doesn't matter.
Thrilled Krecji is done. He's not good anymore. Wish Marchand was right behind him. He doesn't look good anymore, not compared to his salary or his past performance.
The future looks bleak.
As much as I love Bergeron and many of the things he's done, for such an incredible player, he did so little come playoff time because of not be able to manage injuries (this is career long, not just this season). Tried to play through too much, rather than taking the last bit of a season to get healthy and come back for playoffs, he tried to out tough guy things. 1-3 in Stanley cups because he was always playing broken.
Three Bruins right there on the last goal and lost the puck.

Still put this series on Montgomery,. Shuffling lines, playing abad and hiurt Ullmark, pulling Dryz for Clifton in game 6.
Too much panic. Too many nonsensical decisions.

My question most of the series - how could Florida play like they had glue on their sticks, constantly pressuring our goalies - and our guys played like it was a pinball game with so many missed and mistimed passes, so many giveaways, so many lost pucks? Are they that much more skilled - or are we just not skilled at controlling the puck? Mystifying and really frustrating throughout these games.
