00 who just dunked on Tatum literally took about 6 steps as he readjusted his pivot foot about 3 times and the crowd goes crazy and no-ones sees it. Come on man.

Only Brown and Griffin and Brogdon seemed to really show up to play. Not a particularly good game by Tatum, and one of the worst by White and Grant I've seen this year. Smart is so-so.

Very disappointed how they played tonight. Agreed. Not sure if it was GS being particularly good on D, or the Celts just not finding any flow. This type of game they really missed Horford (and big Rob). GS getting way too many second chance points. Awful defense on Curry and Klay in the first half. Tatum was really out of sorts shooting in the first half too. And given all that - it is just an 8 point game with lots of time to go.

Celtics getting turnovers and not converting - Tatum seems not willing to take big shots right now, and White is killing them with poor shooting.
It is really impacting their free throw shooting now, too.
Now the wheels are really coming off - Celts now turning it over.

No Rob AND no AL, this should not be a surprise in the least and their fans are AAAF.

Well, it was a game for awhile - but there is lots for the Celts to learn from this one. By far the worst game I've seen from Tatum in some time - couldn't hit the side of a barn door. Not going above the screen when Curry or Thompson shot and watching shot after shot go in. Still lots of work to do. Amazing the team that destroyed Phoenix came in and laid this sort of big egg, but that's the NBA.

Tatum should be EMBARRASSED for helping up Draymond then yapping it up with him after the game as if they're best friends.
Play with some pride, dude.

Reading comments this AM from Brown and Tatum - and seeing some of the analysis, they let GS set up a tent in their heads. If they want to be champs, they need to get over this kind of stuff. Sure - one game - but deva vu to last year's ending for sure. Glad it's early - and we have Rob coming soon.

The Celtics have been the most talented team in the league for 3 of the past 4 seasons (bubble, last year, and this year). Anything less than a championship this year is a major disappointment in my opinion.
They should have dominated the Warriors last night. They were extremely passive on defense with slow-ass switches and fell into long periods of tough shot making on offense.
Without Jaylen and Jayson, the Celtics are a playoff team. You can’t say that about any other team without their two best players. It’s almost embarrassing how much talent Boston has.

Without the Js 55 points/game, overall play and athleticism, we would be in the dregs. Those guys make everyone else better.

Idk I think Smart-White-Brogdon-Horford-Timelord-Grant is a playoff team. It’s not a good one that will advance far but they could conceivably get in

Start of the Clippers game continues bad stuff from GS game - Tatum not shooting well, porous defense.

Oh look, Tatum is back to foul hunting, not finishing strong, and playing soft defense after facing the Warriors again.
Not even close to an MVP.
I knew he was cooked mentally after helping up Draymond. That's the kind of stuff I do when I can't keep up and am completely overmatched at the park. You simply do NOT do that when you are competing at a high level and locked in.

Smart not doing much, or Grant, tonight either. Team turning it over, not getting back on D - one of the inevitable bumps in the road of any NBA season.

Lol EEI quality take I mean its literally true LOL...he's clearly in his head again and forgot how to drive strong again. Am I giving up on the dude? No. Has he carried us immensely? Yes. Do I believe in him? Yes. Its also wild and concerning how often it seems like he gets in his own head and forgets how to play.

I think you just don’t understand the modern nba if you think what you had was a serious take I’m not gonna get poopy pants because a guy helped another guy up in game 26 of the regular season when they’re the best team in the league and Tatum is a bonafide top 3 player. But you can get your poopy pants if you want, just know you look silly and it’s some radio hack BS

I will add my vote that “how dare he help another player up” is a bad take.
