Celtics will probably trade Payton Pritchard for Naz Reid or something like that nobody really talking about them it's always the quite trades that happen.

I like Pritchard as a player, but they have all three of Smart, White and Brogdon signed long-term, and all three of those guys are really good and fit well with each other and Tatum/Brown, so Pritchard is trade bait inevitably, and might as well cash him in during a season when they have a legit chance to win the title.

it's astounding how Grant Williams can completely vanish from long stretches when it would be important for him to play well (when key players are injured, for example). His act has already gotten old for me. Don't pay him the big bucks. He is what he is, a good bench piece. The problem with him is they made him a good contract offer and he turned it down. Now I kinda respect that, he has major confidence in his game. He's certainly one of the more unique players in the league. For example his 3 point shooting percentage is highly misleading. When he gets good looks and is on, he's great. Yet yeah it's kinda you get great Grant or nothing Grant. For me he's like Smart, yet he only takes good shots and doesn't force anything. Which frankly isn't a bad thing for a bench player at the right price. He's just not a Horford replacement unless he gets a lot better. I still want to resign him, yet there is certainly a limit and you have to be worried because he turned down a fair extension.

I’d be cool with it I love Pritchard, yet that is the type of move you have to make if it's available. Wouldn't be a total shock, his name has been mentioned. Just Minnesota doesn't seen to be actively trying to deal him. He's like Vanderbilt in my book, he might be able to be a long-term Horford replacement.

Sorry UMass. Per Shams, Kessler Edwards is close to being traded to Sac.

Two of those three are or have become injury prone so unless they can get a player they feel very confident can assure them a championship this season they might just be better off holding on to him.

Sorry UMass. Per Shams, Kessler Edwards is close to being traded to Sac. Third in the West making very good buy low trades. Yeah the Kings seems to have changed and it's shocking frankly. Good for them.

Per reports Celtics seem to be focusing on using their Schroder trade exception in trade talks. Makes sense, yet also limits the players you can target given its under 6 million.

They don’t want to trade Gallo because he’s working hard to get back, super long shot this year. But if they keep him, he’s signed for next year too and then they’ll also have the MLE to use, if they want. I’m sure they’d deal him in the right trade but he’s not a throw away salary filler to them.

What about Pritchard, Gallinari and Jackson for Covington, Jason Preston and Mousse Diabate?
Covington is barely playing and Clippers want a point guard shooter. We get Covington who can play small center, PF and SF, along with two young guys I like. Still leaves a roster spot open and if you wanted you could still dump Kofnet or Griffin. Improving for this year, while adding some young talent for the future. I'm a huge Jason Preston fan, a true pass first PG.
Gallinari has been declining and now he likely won't come back to age 35 coming off an injury. He's basically a PF who's bad at D. Covington is like the older version of Jarred Vanderbilt. Per 36 minutes 12.5 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.7 blocks and only 1.5 TOs. He's still a good versatile defender that can play playoff minutes. He's signed for next year. He's a better fit in my book, given we have Grant Williams.

Every time Pritchard gets subbed in I’m happy. He never takes bad shots and gets the ball moving. I honestly wish Jayson and Jaylen let him cook a bit more and screened for him in pick and roll. Pritchard is basically a spot up shooter when either Jayson or Jaylen are in the game.

Tatum is looking really out of whack on offense, but is helping in other ways. Lots of others stepping up tonight. Hope they can close the deal.

Nice job by the bench to stay afloat with Tatum getting some rest.

Josh Hart to the Knicks. Can't believe that LaL got rid of Russ and got some value in return while only giving up 1 1st.
Blazers getting Reddish and a 1st

So - no Al, no Rob, no Marcus, hardly any Jaylen, and Jayson's shot badly off - and no problem. HUGE games from Brogdon, White, Griffin, Kornet, Williams, Hauser. I loved watching this game.

Best win of the year it's hard to believe they lost back to back games to Orlando at home.

Unbelievable win missing FOUR starters (well after Jaylen left the game, but he sucked before he did so lol). Brogdon and White BALLED, I love these guys. Stevens has built quite a remarkable team.

Also, give it up for the Sexy White Men Crew of Hauser and Kornet scoring 22 points shooting 8-9 from the field. Just nuts.
