What's with Tatum's funks? He's just not a Top Tier guy right now. Still obviously a superstar but right now they win with him but not because of him. I really thought he'd settled into a better shooter and it was just the shoulder at the tail end of playoffs that held him back, but now it looks like it's between the ears.

See now you will complain about the Celtics here and there and I don't like or agree with it all, but that's allright. You are at least balanced enough where it is easy to ignore what I don't agree with it. It's obvious it's your opinion and not trolling and I'm interested even more in your opinion because it is balanced. There are others where is not refreshing nor balanced on their hot (SSDD) takes that are over the top obnoxious and there in lies the difference, between those you don't allways agree with an "others". We all know who that is and that really does say it all, so why is there behaivor tolerated?  ? |

Let's hope that's the lesson they learn after a rough stretch for them. Also what is Brad doing with the extra roster spot? You're way over tax, havd traded 3 straight first round picks and a bunch of 2nds. So that's basically all in and they can't find a player to help now or in the future? By no means perfect, give me Demarcus Cousins given Robert Williams health issues. He's been darn good last two playoffs playing around 10 minutes a game. Actually unreal per 36 minute production. If Celtics are going to complain about Dragic to Bucks, make a move that gives you a guy who could potentially help you win a playoff game or two!

In re: to the last spot I read that it was 2 things: 1) every day that goes by is thousands off the tax bill they would have to pay on the signing 2) they’re waiting to see if a major need opens up |

Joe seems to be figuring out the rotations a bit and I'm glad that Grant has been relegated to playing just certain matchups, with White getting much more regular burn, as he should. Even once Timelord is back, I think our best lineups are with White now, and not two bigs, given Horford and Timelord's regressions.
Important roadtrip, and I think we could gain some ground on the Bucks!

Approaching half time, we seem to be playing down to the competition again. Tatum 2 for 11, 1 for 7 on threes. Ugh.

I would prefer if Marcus went back to playing the role of point guard. He seems to have abandoned it since he came back from injury.

Starting the second half - seems only Brogdon and Brown came to play. We are getting blasted in the stat sheet in all aspects. I just started listening - Grandy and Max talking about how the Celts are getting outworked big time. Max just said Tatum is simply watching the game unfold - not involved at all
Tatum and Smart - -13 and -12.

Tatum can get to the basket at will against this team. I guarantee that once the Rockets start respecting the Celtics’ ability to drive, the 3s will be a lot more open and start falling.

And still has no points in the 4th quarter. There are some real concerns here - the main two being why this team plays down to its competition so often (especially recently) - and...what's wrong with Tatum?
As for this game - Brown and Brogdon, with a dash of White. Period. Horford, Hauser and Smart were no shows. Grant pretty much rode the bench. Tatum vanished for long stretches and kept chucking up 3s when he could have driven lots more. And even when he had the chance at the end, he blew a chippie.
