I don't care what the matchup is...when you are missing 3 starters on a road back to back...
Its absolutely inexcusablee that Derrick White, one of your best players period even when everyone is healthy, gets ZERO fourth quarter minutes.
I hope Mazzulla gets rightfully questioned by the media for it.

Great game outside of that but **** I thought Tatum forcing it the possession or two before was worse, as Williams had about 3 seconds lefts and I could see Jalen was covered. I didn't like the attempt but I didn't see any other options open to him. |

Complete victory. We just need to play really good teams to get the Celtics to play really, really good.
30 assists, 5 turnovers. Only Tatum's continued 3 point and free throw shooting need a bit of mending. Derek White - wow.

Once more, Derek White, wow. Kind of a blow out - so Tatum's 6 turnovers are the only hmmm - he needs to clean those up in the playoffs. On we go - glad to see the team cranking it up as the regular season starts to wind up.

Derrick White is BALLING, he has to be PG-1 in this team and Marcus Smart is my favorite basketball player of all time. White has simply been that good.

Bucs tough ones include Bos, Denver, Sixers, Memphis

Derrick White, Malcolm Brogdon, Al and Rob are so good because of what they don’t do: settle for bad shots. They are always probing for efficiency in themselves and others, which is the exact opposite of Tatum/Brown/Smart when things fall apart.
Brad really knows what ails this team. That’s why he made the moves to bring in playmakers. Now they need a coach with the authority to say “Jayson, Jaylen, give the ball to Malcolm and start moving off ball. Here’s some Steph Curry tape. I’ll see you at defensive drills tomorrow.”
Jordan didn’t win until he bought into playing off ball in the triangle. Kobe didn’t win until he bought into playing off ball in the triangle. Unfortunately, Lebron won playing on ball and being a sulky teammate because he’s the most gifted player who ever lived. The Celtics will continue to fail as long as Jayson continues to adopt this Lebron mindset.

Tatum in particular is so talented that even when he settles for contested step back threes, he can still score well enough, and he can get those shots whenever he wants. If he’s just settling for those shots now because it’s a long season and he’s tired, fine, but he really needs to focus more on driving to the rim and moving off ball during the playoffs.

Yeah unfortunately he is NOT talented enough to score through ineffecient shot selection. And I think he’s a top three scorer in basketball. He became wildly ineffective in the playoffs last year, and recognized that daily pizza and fried food wasn’t gonna get it done. I’m not sure a whole lot has changed. To be fair when I was 24/25, I was smoking game blunts and eating meatball sandwiches. But a dynasty awaits this kid if he can grow up now. |

Impressive half by Jaylen, he's perfect from 2 point range. Sadly he has taken more 3s than he should have, but with the team needing points it wasn't such a bad idea. Keep it up and we got this.

Yeah, they don't make too much sense next to each other and to expand on what cdj said, the trade really finished depleting an already poor roster. Don't forget that Christian Wood is also part of that "big 3" and Wood is also an absolutely atrocious defender. |
