Has anyone else heard the rumors that Fox is going to pair Brady with Bill Belichick and Taylor Swift to add drama and appeal to a wider audience?

If you believe in Fields doesn't that mean Getsy isn't any good? Yet multiple 2nd interviews with teams for OC position. Patriots and Saints. This would suggest it's NOT "exactly how you took it". What? I don't like Fields and don't think they are even talking about players to acquire per Mayo, which I also said. So it was clearly they are interested in him as a coach. He's the 2nd guy to get an in person interview and they have to fill out the staff. Maybe it isn't crystal clear, but it's my way of saying the Patriots are interested in the coach, not Fields. Saying he might be QB coach just goes to show it's about him, not another player he coached.

Senior bowl I've seen Nix was 2nd best QB to Nix looks bad and is hurting his draft stock lol.
I can't believe they put Rattler on the same team with his #1 target! The whole thing is about how these guys perform in an equal level playing field. How quickly QBs and WR can get on the same page, type crap. You have plenty of tape with Rattler throwing to his #1 guy, I want to see how he does with other WR he just met. Instead we get reports he keeps targeting him. Bad job by the coaches, it's going to hurt the QB and WR.
Anyone else have Michael Pratt being the top looking QB to start the Senior Bowl practice week?

I was gonna suggest Pratt be somebody we look at in the later rounds but I certainly wasn’t expecting him to show out like this

Neither Nix nor Penix coming out of Senior Bowl cleanly. McCarthy might be the big winner of the Senior Bowl by not showing up!
Dan Quinn just named Commanders coach. He seems like a Drake Maye guy to me.
Hoping the Pats like Daniels... I showed it in an earlier post but we do NOT want to be last one standing in a game of QB Musical Chairs.

Anyone else have Michael Pratt being the top looking QB to start the Senior Bowl practice week?I've taped the practices and so far had time to watch some of it. The ND QB made the worst two passes I've seen so far: wide open WR in end zone, missed by a lot both times while rolling out right. Penix, on the other hand, had a couple of nice simple on-target throws rolling out left, one with pressure, one without. He just looks the part of a pro QB. Yet to (knowingly) see Pratt. I think I saw a couple of his nice throws on Day 1 but the production crew does a hit or miss job identifying who's throwing, who's catching, who's defending. Bad job by them. Viewing Reminder: Shrine Bowl tonight on NFL Network.

If Washington doesn’t go QB then I’ll be stunned if the Patriots don’t, otherwise I won’t be.

Last time QBs went 1-3 that didn’t work out well for the 2nd and 3rd teams.

Last time QBs went 1-3 that didn’t work out well for the 2nd and 3rd teams. Conversely we just saw 2nd QB off the board last year be better than the 1st one, and by a huge margin Each year has to be analyzed and treated in its own vacuum

Alex Van Pelt is the OC hire Surprising I like it. I know a lot of people wanted McDaniels round 3, but I’m looking forward to bringing in a guy that has no connection to Bill

Alex Van Pelt is the OC hire Surprising Can someone help me understand why we’re hiring the guy the BROWNS just fired?? Their offense looked pretty good with washed up Flacco He didn’t actually call plays for them- he only did that once in the playoff game a couple years ago when the browns hung 48 on the Steelers so that’s interesting I think most importantly he’s actually done the job before and has QB/QB coach experience It’s not a home run hire but idk if a home run hire was even a possibility tbh. Aaron Rodgers really liked working with him so maybe there’s something there

I’m just trying figure out what the rationale was for firing him if he’s the guy everyone says he is.

My take, he was fired along with most of the staff because the owner wants to win playoff games and the coach had to do something. That teams offense isn't crazy talented and the results have been fairly good for 4 years. Maybe the HC should stop calling plays! HC changed offense after first year and Mayfield tanked because of it, then Watson trade. So he had much less control than Mayo will give him. Going from offensive HC to defensive one. Will have say in hiring other coaches per reports.
No HR type move, but it makes sense. Lots of experience as QB coach and OC, former QB, west cost offense similar but different than Patriots. Offense described as short passing, timing and power running game. Sound familiar?

Good to have that veteran presence on the staff too, especially one that’s relatable to the players

How many teams fire most of the offensive staff after going 11-6, 10th in points and 16th in yards after your starter misses 11 games and you start 5 different QBs? Oh yeah and your star RB basically missed the whole season.
