These are November NBA games it’s not always gonna be perfect. Other teams will play well sometimes.

Joe Mazz is actually a crazy person. There aren't enough words to express how much I love Mazz. The way he deadpans the most absurd stuff is absolutely beautiful and his growth at in game managing has been a joy. He's like a perfect mix of being extremely competent and just an awesome weird dude and he is just badass. |

Look, the shot went in, but that’s a terrible shot in a tie game. Tough to draw up a worse percentile shot than that one.

Oh absolutely, but I hate that the instinct was to dance around and take a contested step back 29 (!) footer rather than drive and get an easier shot or chance at a foul. |

This goes back to some of those earlier conversations about Tatum sprinkling in more midrange / high post actions. It shouldn’t be a staple of his game, but it’d be useful for him to have in his arsenal to manufacture good looks late in games. |
